I forget and I am too lazy to look, but which one of you guys complaining was the one that said something like "Rockstar hasn't made a good game in 10 years"?

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Rockstar hasn't made a good GTA game in 7 years. :)

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
If people keep calling this a rockstar game L&O is going to bring in an uzi and start offing people
I assume at this point we are just doing it to piss him off? |

What else is there in life, really?

So, this is a pretty good Rockstar game I must say. I'm enjoying it immensely |
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Things are getting pretty interesting towards the end here....even though I really f'd up by reading the biggest spoiler in this thread....not doing too bad for being on-call this week......still think this game needs a lot more to it though.

I was calling it a Rockstar game because there's a big Rockstar logo on the cover, it says "Rockstar Games Presents" in the beginning of the game, it's all over the Rockstar web site...
you know, little things like that. |
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
So I get to the point in the Arson desk last night where

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I'm having fun with the game, but I hate the driving part, and just a few nit-pickey things, the game is set in 1947 but there are cars from 1949, the other thing nobody in their right minds sits with their back ( bus benches are facing the wrong way ) to the street in Los Angeles no matter what year it is.

And if you try to go to Team Bondi's website you get redirected to Rockstar.

Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
I think it's pretty clear to anybody who's played the game even for a few minutes where the "Team Bondi" stuff stops and where the "Rockstar" stuff begins.
|
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Yeah, I really want to like this game but it's pushing back really hard.

I like the game but it's already getting kind of repetitive and I'm still on the traffic desk. Maybe this changes later in the game but the cases seem too linear to me. You can totally flub up the interrogations and you might have to do a little more work but you'll eventually find the bad guy. It doesn't seem like you can fail by not getting the guy or arresting the wrong person. |
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
maybe it is not fair comparison...but Mafia 2 is the better game...
|
Re: LA Noire - The Thread.
Mafia II was alot of fun but sorry, LA Noire blows it away.
