Not to split hairs, but they don't directly quote him on that. Still, it's probably good enough as a direct quote, but until it is officially out there, it's still just a rumor. Could even be DLC and not on-disc content, but still "in the game".

Joystiq says that Miis will appear in the Wii version of GH:WT. No idea to what end (rockers? roadies? crowd?), but they're there.

If true, I wonder if they'll also extend that to Microsoft's new Avatars, should they have the resources/API for that sort of thing yet.

Just yesterday my son & I were playing when the pause menu popped up because my battery died in my LP. As soon as I unpaused the game, at least 10 notes whizzed by before I even remembered which song we were playing (Enter Sandman).

Agreed. That's a very nice addition!

Great addition! I've had a few "oops hit the pause" button moments playing left handed and experienced immediate screw-ups.

Since they are adding Miis, I hope they add the ability to send Wii-mail challenges, or have a similar WFC channel like Mario Kart for GH:WT.

Future Shop and Best Buy Canada online started taking pre-orders for this online but mispriced the full band bundle at $99.99 instead of the now corrected price of $189.99 CDN. I got in for a preorder at $99 but not sure if they'll honour it... however, if they do, I just scored big time! Can't wait for November!
