That was deal of the day for $30 recently so I guess they had a ton of stock to sell through if it comes up again.

Interesting promo. Best Buy is having a buy one get one 50% off on games online. Thing is, you can do it on preorders, which is pretty unique.

Went ahead and preordered The Beatles: Rock Band, COD MW2, Forza 3, and NHL 10 using that Best Buy deal. Hopefully it isn't a mistake. Normally I just get my games through Gamefly right when they come out, but the price was about the same with this deal, and I get them on release date.

Nice. Just placed the following order:

$60 - Bioshock 2
$30 - Split/Second
===========
$95.39 Total w/tax (6%)

So $47 each. Probably just a few bucks better than getting an Amazon Goldbox + ECA discount.

Now I'm trying to find something to pair up with Lego Rock Band. No sign of Fallout: GOTY, Dead Rising 2, Crackdown 2 or Halo: Reach on the site.

This should be available for the PS3 starting 09/06/2009.

Mods: Since this current deal discussion is not an Amazon related, and represents no immediate threat to PopcornTreeCt's life, perhaps it should be moved to its appropriate thread instead. Could you please move it to the Video Game Deals thread? Thank you.

Did anyone catch how much Star Wars:Force Unleashed was today? It's unavailable now, given that you can find it for $20 or so, it must have been pretty cheap.

It's back in stock as of a few seconds ago - I just ordered one and it was $10.

Don't forget that Lucasarts is putting out a 'GOTY' edition* of sorts with all the DLC and some exclusive DLC as well.

Yeah, but for people who only care about the main game, and are cheap bastards (like me), $10 is too good to pass up. ;)

Yep. I was just going to post that. http://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Forc...1727463&sr=1-1

I think I will wait for a deal on the newer version since I never got around to getting the original.

With all the DLC/GOTY versions popping up, it almost pays to just wait a year to get games nowadays.

Just ordered one. For $10 it's hard to pass up. I'm generally not all that interested in DLC.

I just picked one up as well. I already played through it and liked it a lot. My backlog is getting ridiculous but it's worth a $10 risk.

The PS3 version of Bioshock is only $20 at the moment. Finally snagged myself a copy...

it can actually rip holes in the fabric of space/time
hope they don't strip THAT feature out of the slim

Rather than assume we read each and every post, see that little button that talks about reporting a post? That's a much better way to get something looked at.

Thank you.

Re: Amazon Video Game Deal Thread .

Also - Amazon has some fucked up shipping action.

I just ordered NHL 10, and standard shipping was 4.98...release day (basically overnight) was 5.98, basically shipping was free thanks to ECA, and $40 worth of this was promo credit (from trades and a game purchase)..out of pocket for me $17.

Thanks pinata! I had the $10 GH5 credit on my account too, so I got it for $15.59 shipped, and another $10 credit!

Hey guys, I'm going to be pre-ordering Uncharted 2 (and probably Fallout 3 GOTY) and just wanted to see if anyone had an extra one of those ECA 10% codes, it would be much appreciated. Thanks.
