I dont have the Conduit yet but even if its not successful in the eyes of the hardcore gamers, it at least shows what can be done on the Wii in terms of graphics and gameplay.

That quote about not having online play in Super Mario Bros. Wii because the capabilities were maxed out seems lame now.

If Conduit can push the limits of Wii graphics AND have multiplayer online AND use the WiiSpeak then I dont get why SMB Wii could not.

I'm much more interested in the single player camgaign, as I only have room in my life for one multiplayer shooter, and her name is Warhawk.

Knowing nothing else about the game, I think the marketing is TERRIBLE. The dude with the goofy sunglasses looks a bit too "EXTREME!!!" for my tastes, and if I weren't an educated consumer, I wouldn't give that box a second look.

This game is going to flop in a huge way despite its apparent quality.

Tales of Graces... looks nice.

I hooked up my Wii wirelessly. Didn't have to pay extra for a dongle.

Works perfectly.

I think the next Wii game on my radar is Muramasa, which isn't out until September.

Can't wait though - it looks fucking fantastic.

Muramasa is from the Odin Sphere guys right? That one looks awesome.

Yeah, it's from the same developers and it's basically like Odin Sphere, only more action/platforming and less RPG-ish.

Yeah, I meant youtube's version of "HD", which still isn't as good as 480p, but conveys the beauty of the game better than a pixilated little window.

My Wii is making whirring noises when disc-based games are being played. Of course it is out of warranty, so should I be expecting the wii-version of the RROD soon?

Mine's done that for about a year, but only on games that require a ton of disk reading. I actually got rid of Tomb Raider Anniversary because it was so annoying.

But they system has chugged along just fine otherwise.

I wish I could get some of those "free" Wii points from Pepsi caps, but nobody in my family or any of my friends drink Pepsi, and I don't drink pop (soda) anymore. Arrrgh.

Monster Hunter 3 looks nice.

Been trying to play Dr. Mario RX today and keep getting kicked offline when i try to play online.

Picked up Broken Sword: The Shadow of the Templars yesterday for $29.99 @ GameStop. Just a heads up for anyone still interested in that title or interested in even somewhat supporting old school PnC adventures on the Wii

(It's a quality game despite being excessively punny.)

I bought it on DS and love it. I just wished they hadn't charged so much in the beginning because I think it turned off most of the potential buyers.

The one-on-one Doc fight DLC is awesome too, but I think the novelty of that would wear off.

Same here. Already submitted for Punch-Out. None of the prizes are anything special but at least Punch-Out is a functional prize even though it's barely what could be classified as a demo.
