The Conduit seems to be shaping up very nicely. Here's a developer walkthrough video:

I need help from you guys! I've had my Wii since Thanksgiving 2006, and I've enjoyed a few of its offerings (Wii Sports, Mario Galaxy, Zelda, and RE4). I have a few games downloaded from virtual console as well that I should probably play through. As I've mentioned in a few other threads, I'm heavily considering selling off my Wii, especially after Nintendo's horrible E3 showing.
Are any of you getting much use and enjoyment out of your Wii? If you are, I ask how! I would prefer to keep the damn thing. I feel some sort of weird bond with it due to the ordeal I went through to obtain it.
Thoughts? Suggestions?
ETA: Don't bother suggesting Mario Kart. I had it and sold it.

Although I haven't played it in a few weeks I was enjoying the hell out of Okami and Boom Blox. Two of the best third party games on the system, IMO.

I would love to have updated golf with wifi play and new courses and unlockables (clubs, balls, outfits etc.). And with the new motion control these titles would be even better.
Bowling the same. Wifi play, new lanes, new balls, pin choices, night bowling, etc.
Ditto for tennis.
So much they missed out on with this title to keep the core market. You'd think that the pack in game that hooked everyone would have familiar updates and not a complete overhaul.
You honestly see grandma Jetskiing? Sword smashing?

I think if you are purely looking at the Wii as a 'gaming' machine, then I think it will tend to get boring. But if you have a significant other, or other family around, that likes to play games, they really love the wii.

And now for something completely different...

Supposedly, there's at least 10 games included in Wii Sports Resort, twice as many as Wii Sports. I imagine we'll see some overlap (Golf and Tennis in particular).

Miyamoto explaining why there were no 'core' gamers:
http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/25710005/
That makes me feel a little more at ease, Basically Nintendo is only going to show for the most part things like voice chat and Wii drums...rather than the next Zelda or Mario.
think that there’s probably one other element to it, and that’s that our view of how we use E3 has changed. For a very long time, E3 was an event where — and certainly Nintendo included — catered specifically to the core gamer. Now we look at more … an opportunity for us to introduce new concepts and new types of play that we intend to bring to the broader audience, particularly because of the media that gathers at E3 now.
So while attending an E3 event like this, they might be given the impression that Nintendo is no longer focusing on the games that appeal to the core gamer, in fact we’re still working on many of those titles, but it’s just not the type of event where we’ll be showcasing that anymore.

I ditched my 360 on Jan 5 2008. The only thing that I regret about it is losing DEAD RISING. I'd rather have DEAD RISING on the PS3, but I'll take it for the Wii for now.

Hopefully they can improve the amount of zombies for the Wii version, but I am definitely still buying it as that is the one game on the 360 I've always wanted.

Wow. Just wow. I'm surprised that there are any takers on this one.
