Played through the Hoth level, was pretty cool, i liked it. Gonna play the Tatooine level next. This game is more fun than I remember...

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Does this mean I can finally purchase the original edition and get all the game content that comes with the ultimate edition?

Edit: To answer my own question, yes. Ordered the original edition and used my $10 Bioshock 2 credit, got it for $9.95.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Is "Hoth" really all there is new in the UE? I ask because the achievements I see I'm missing all seem to be on Tatooine.

Oh, I'm stupid apparently. I guess I forgot the Tatooine stuff was already on the Marketplace.

Yeah, the only thing exclusive to the Sith edition was Hoth (and some pointless physical extras). For under $10 I'm fine getting the regular version and downloading the DLC.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Dont mean to rehash an old thread but i grabbed this for 10.00 and downloaded the jedi temple pack. Should I play the game and build skills before playing this or can I jump right in. I plan on downloading the other 2 packs tomorrow

thanks

Definitely play the game before the Jedi Temple pack.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

Sorry to revive this from the dead, but someone just sold me a new copy of the PS3 Sith edition which is apparently pretty rare. Does anyone know what kind of shrink wrap these came packaged in? The one I got has really thin and flimsy feeling shrink wrap, not the thicker harder kind usually around PS3 games. I'm worried I got bamboozled, unless anyone knows that this is how it actually came.

Thanks.

Probably. I have the PS3 Sith version and I don't remember anything different about the shrink wrap.

I wanna say the wrapping was a bit different because it's on a steelbook. Then again, it's been awhile since I unwrapped it.

Re: Star Wars: The Force Unleashed

So all the PS3 Force Unleashed DLC is currently 50% off for everyone, and 75% off for Playstation Plus members. I'm wondering if it's worth digging out my copy and buying all that DLC this week, so I can upgrade to the Sith version (sans Steelbook and card) for an additional $10.
Any thoughts one way or the other?

I'd pass. While I found the game fun while I initially played it, going back to it was more of a chore than anything.

To be fair, I didn't ask about what was in the Sith Edition (already knew that), nor did I ask about Achievements (since it's PS3 and I don't care at all about Trophies). Though the DLC missions may not be worth $10 each, for $2.50 they might be worth a spin. Like how the skin packs certainly aren't worth $5, but for $1.25 why not?

Yeah, I wasn't too crazy about the game initially. I have to locate it in one of my still- unpacked boxes and try it again before the deal goes away next Tuesday.
