It never even occurred to me that it was an April Fools joke. Where's the humor? Sure Star Wars, Indiana Jones and Batman can have Lego-based games, but Halo?

Halo is M rated and console specific. The other three you mentioned are aimed at the younger crowd and can be put on 5 different platforms.

Any chance of 360s going on sale soon with GTA4 coming out end of next month?

Not to mention that Lego actually makes sets of Batman, Star Wars, and Indiana Jones. I'm surprised they never did Lego Spider-man back when they had the movie license...

January when the 360 was supply constrained. That's the official word anyway.

Official? My friend had to do a bit of the mad searching to find one and that was in February.

You see, Microsoft finally got smart and followed Nintendo's lead and created an artificial 'shortage' to help whip up a frenzy. And by all 'official' accounts, it has worked well for them.

Well I found Avatar at Target last week for $13. Didn't open it due to the contest. Instead I threw it up on half.com for $18 Like New even though it was sealed. I figure if someone bites, I'd open it and nab the quick 1000.

Well someone actually bought it this evening. Made $5, so I opened it and got the points. Yeah... it wasn't very satisfying. Makes me wonder what the hell the developers were thinking, or even what there response would be today.

Well, for two months in a row the PS3 has sold more consoles than the Xbox 360. Does the Xbox 360 really have a supply problem?

I'm actually an Xbox 360 fanboy, but if the PS3 outsells the Xbox 360 in March again expect a price cut by April or May.

Anecdotal, but going to stores like Target recently there certainly seem to be a lack of 360's on the shelf, and has been for a couple months now.

Yeah, we always hear all this stuff about the Microsoft Certification process or whatever, you would think they would check for things like that.

Is it just a terrible game? What makes it so easy to get the achievements/points?

Sometimes achievements make no sense to me. I mean, I can understand smoe of the ridiculous ones like use one bullet in HL2 EP1, which is a challenge, but as a developer, who sits there and goes :

"Do you think we should have points for beating the game?"
"Naw, lets just give them for performing a combo"
"What about the other achievements"
"How bout just more combos?"
"Ok"
