They're tied to each other. Average multiplier of 2.0 for 4*, 2.8 for 5*.

Congrats to Sith Draven for your achievement!

I have a issue with my Les Paul that is starting to affect my rating and scores more now that I have move up in skill. Whenever I get the minimum bulbs for star power, it just automatically goes off. Even if I am as still as a statue, it goes off.

It didn't matter in the lower tiers on Easy & Medium but it is affecting me greatly in the upper Medium and i figure even more once I get to Hard. I played co-op with a guy here at DVDTalk the other night online and everytime it got the minimum, it would bug him telling him to left for Star Power...so it is obviously doing it all the time no matter what.

Anyone heard of a quick or easy fix for this. I don't want to send it in (and hell, it is past the 90 days so it probably isn't under warranty anymore anyway) for just this. It plays perfectly regarding everything else. Any suggestions?

There was some talk on tweaking it over at scorehero, but I think all I found was about the xplorer. Not sure if it's applicable. Is Activision sending out replacements in advance of yours being sent back like EA is for RockBand? Worst case...if it's out of warranty (and I can't believe I'm typing this), take it back to Walmart if you've still got the box, tell em you got it for xmas, and it's not working right, and exchange it.

I made some progress over the weekend on my career score - +30K on Knights of Cydonia, +18K on Raining Blood and +10K on Cult of Personality. I'm going to quit once I cross 13MM.

And I need to compile a video of all the funny and rude comments I get when playing Pro-Face Off over Live.

Brian, I wonder if your issue is the same as mine.

As everyone knows because I incessantly harp on it, I also play real guitar. I play my guitar VERY low like Jimmy Page low. What this does is tilt the guitar neck up. Which is exactly what activates star power.

I noticed that when my wife used my guitar she put the strap up. That made the guitar almost flat. She did not have an issue with star power being activated when she didn't want to.

SO...I'm thinking that I can't play all slung down low since the tilt sensor on my LP is sensitive.

Try this tonight and see if it works for you.

I can't ever get the motion activated star power to work. I sit while playing and hold the neck up around 45°.

Thanks. Molly Hatchet in Rock Band (hard/guitar) is my new nemesis.

They definitely need to get the '80s out for the 360.

If that's "milking," then milk away!

EGM's Rumor Mill is reporting that U2 may get a standalone GH game this year.

boo. I'd much prefer seeing U2 in Rock Band as some of their songs are fun to sing as well.

Agreed.

All and all, I can't see myself buying one of these expansions. I would buy maybe like a "Classic Rock" expansion, but just Aerosmith? meh. And I sure as heck ain't buying like 20 songs for $50.

Aerosmith could have easily 50 songs on it.

U2 about 30 that are guitar worthy, but take for example WOWY. That song is the same four chords OVER AND OVER. BORING. Although Sunday Bloody Sunday would be pretty fun.

And how would you replicate the delay opening of Streets?

Bad idea IMHO.

Aerosmith and U2...ugh. They are both okay groups but neither have ever done much for me.

Gimme a KISS Guitar Hero and I will faint. Someone get Gene on the phone and tell him there is money in it. It will be finished by tomorrow.

After KISS, gimme Queen, Alice In Chains, Stone Temple Pilots and Lenny Kravitz dedicated games.

Three that I would love but will never happen in a million years:

The Beatles - rights issues. It will never happen. Shit I would be happy with an all covers disc if they were well done.
Steely Dan - oh, to just chill out and play some Steely. Not popular enough with today's youth.
Electric Light Orchestra - Jeff Lynne is a kick-ass guitarist but no one ever speaks of him probably because his stuff is so catchy and over-produced (which is fine because he is the best over-producer ever). They have so many great songs that no one acknowledge it makes me sad.

Of course, all of these could work even better on Rock Band and I hope to see some (or more) of these (especially ELO) someday.

My tendency is to play with the neck kinda high. Maybe that is it.

So I need to try to keep the neck horizontal?

That's what I've had the most success doing. Some tilt is okay, but the higher the more you risk the tilt sensor.

I'd be down for Aerosmith. They have plenty of songs that would be a blast to play. U2? I have to agree with you. They have some great pop songs, but nothing that strikes me as wanting to rock out on guitar. Maybe a few for a DLC pack, but a whole disc? No way.

A DLC pack with Sunday, HMKMKMTM and One (those little fill lines in hard/expert would be fun) would be pretty cool to me.

I actually just put in a Steely Dan request today on Rock Band's site. That would be awesome.

Are there any plans to release a wireless guitar on its own? Trying to google for that information is futile, or I just am not using the right search terms.
