Finally got to try Piss Island, LOL you guys are right what a joke.
The Brain Challenge thing was just as bad really, not because of
what kind of game it is but because of how poorly implemented it is.
Wish Microsoft had some form of quality control for this stuff.

The developers probably just looked at the calendar and said "Oh shit its our week for a new game" and then just rushed one out.

Thats how it feels for about 70% of XBLA.

I got the newest OXM today and saw there was an article on great arcade games coming in 08. I'll have to look over it because other than Castle Crashers and the board games (Alhambra, Puerto Rico, Cosmic Encounter) i have seen nothing interesting on its way.


Also, why can't i get a damn disc of camera enabled mini-games like the Eyetoy stuff on the PS2. I mean hell, they ought to see mini-games sell like mad on the Wii and try to ride that tide.

I'm still waiting for them to release Hoopworld...one of the original talked-about XBLA games.

Although you know she does have a point... it's a bunch of white characters massacring a bunch of black characters.

I thought the one camera based XBLA game was pretty awful. It didn't track movements well at all. From what I heard the PS2 camera actually did a pretty good job at tracking your movements so the games were somewhat controllable. I have the EyeToy coming for the PS3 soon and I want to see how it does. Thank god the games for it are super cheap on the PSN Store....just in case they suck too.

Oh they suck, really badly.

The "screen savers" are okay though.

I had forgotten about Talisman (a decent board game iirc) and that is very interesting they are working on a Magic the Gathering.

Is there still no way to gift someone points knowing only their gamertag? I know you can do it using the Windows Live Login, but I don't have that info.

Whats that platformer thats coming out for XBLA? The main dude looks sorta like a hobbit. I saw it in some magazine not too long ago.



Edit: I found it. Its called Braid.

That screenshot doesn't look like anything special, but watching gameplay footage gives me promise for the game.

Also, Fez cannot come out soon enough. I'm dying to play that.
