The One and Only Virtual Console Thread (Wii)

Re: The One and Only Virtual Console Thread (Wii)
I wonder now that Wii-VC supports MAME-type games and with XBLA seeming to pull away from classic arcade games if we'll notice a transition from XBLA->VC.

DSiWare
Brain Age Express: Arts & Letters (Nintendo, 1 player, 800 DSi Points): Nintendo's split up the Brain Age experience, combining old and new puzzles in downloadable chunks for DSi. Arts & Letters focuses on just that, with a series of grammatical and music-based challenges to conquer. We'd be excited, but for only a couple more dollars, one could simply get the full game.
WiiWare
NyxQuest: Kindred Spirits (Over the Top Games, 1 - 2 players, 1,000 Wii Points): Once known as Icarian Spirits, NyxQuest is an action platformer with a Greek twist. If you squint hard enough while playing, it's almost like it's a sequel to Kid Icarus!
Rock 'N Roll Climber (Nintendo, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): Not to be confused with Rock 'N Roll Racing, this is the game about climbing walls of rocks Nintendo revealed back at GDC09. Using the Balance Board, Nunchuk and Wiimote in unison, players climb tall walls of rock and, upon reaching the top, rip out the guitar and get their rock on. Sounds kinda cool, but we're already in love with one guitarist, Nintendo!
Virtual Console
Super Star Wars (LucasArts, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): Dude, you single-handedly take down a Sandcrawler full of Jawas. What's not to like?

Good thing I got a bunch of points from the Pepsi promotion - I think I'm in for everything except Brain Age Express this week.

They also said more Lucasarts games are on the way after the SNES Star Wars ones. Love that they finally figured out they have such a great history of games to bring back to people.

Great! I played the Super Star Wars saga to death! Still have the original carts.
Will be great to be able to play them on the Wii finally.

I still have all three mint in the box. I played the crap out of them. I might have to cash in some of my Pepsi points to pick this up. I haven't played them in ages.

Look at how excited we get over something worth playing! And a whole month of SSW games? Nice job.
So I'm going to need 2400 points for the full set, I may be getting some Wii codes from the Pepsi promotion after all.

Super RotJ was easily the best of the three: better level design, more variety, longer game, better graphics, better music, etc, etc. - I'll wait for that one.

Anyone else suggest this route? I never played the trilogy but would wait if one is so superior (gamewise) to the other two.

IIRC, Empire was the toughest while ROTJ was the easiest.

Re: The One and Only Virtual Console Thread (Wii)
I own Empire and Jedi on the SNES but must have lost or sold Super Star Wars a while back, so it's definitely one I'll get on VC. It's been years since I played any of them, but I remember all of them being fun and rather challenging.
