What the vouchers unlock is the treat, so far I've bought the bumper stickers and the screenshot tool. It's hard to catch up to the friend vouchers though, I still owe people three vouchers in return. Sorry...

I'm really liking the game. I like the graphics. I think they are very appropriate for the game. The sound is also great. My complaints are like those of others. The biggest being the controls. When they work they are the best ever. But some times (like in a boss battle I just finnished) when I need to look up they don't respond well. I point up, and nothing. Also pushing toward the screen, and pulling away is a problem. The other complaint I've heard is that it's pretty much the same game we've played before. I'd agree, but it's still great fun.

Finished the game this morning. Pretty underwhelming ending, in my opinion, especially given that it's wrapping up an entire trilogy. Maybe there's a different ending if you have 100% item pickup? I only had 65% of the items, but I saved before passing "the point of no return" so that I can go back and search out the rest. Still an excellent game despite the disappointing ending, but now I have to agree that this is not the best entry in the Prime series. I think the first is still the best.

There is a different ending if you
Spoiler:
hit 75% items.

Thanks for the info. I'll have to play some more and see what the other ending is like.

I'll add one more complaint. The scanning is out of control. Too much. Does anyone know if it impacts the ending?

Spoiler:
There's also extra bit after reaching 100% items, but if you've played through 100% on the past two Prime games, you'll know exactly what to expect.. it's not really worth the extra effort if you feel you're done with the game.

It never has and still doesn't.

I started this game a few days ago and I'm loving it so far. I'm only 3-4 hours in. Playing this makes me wish I had played Prime 2. It would be tough to go back to it after getting used to the amazing Wii controls though.

I've been playing this for over a week. Great stuff. Definitely one of the best games I've ever played. I do get a bit confused with the objectives where they want you to go back and forth unlocking this and that to complete the other objective and so on.

I finished last night. I got 98 out of 100 pickups. Never could find the last 2. Oh well, I had fun with it. Might be my favorite Prime game. Definately better than Prime 2.

Also, with all the scanning it should be a one button instant activation.

Question about the ending

Spoiler:
So I just beat the game with 100% and at the very end after the credits, there is some ship that follows Samus' ship. I have no clue who/what that was supposed to be. Anyone know and care to enlighten me?

So, I got a few more hours of playtime in today, and
Spoiler:
defeated Helios and Gandrayda, and picked up the hyper missiles, x-ray visor, grapple voltage, and just now the spider ball. This game just keeps getting better and better, although the bosses are a little too easy. I've only died twice since that damn Rundas fight. Hopefully I'll be able to finish this game within the next week. I'm taking my sweet time.

Finished this tonight (first time through). Great game from beginning to end, I really enjoyed myself. Glad I can now read this thread (I've been avoiding spoilers). Thanks to everybody who sent me friend vouchers!

I picked up Metroid Prime for the GCN last night for $6. I played it for about 30 mins about 5 years ago... and I can't remember a thing.

Gotta start somewhere!

Good Luck! One of the hardest final bosses I've fought. Great game.

I'm having the same problem with the boss Mogenar as I did with the final boss of God of War - it's not so much "hard" as it is just annoying as shit. So much in fact that it's just about absolutely killing my interest for the game for good.

Spoiler:
Only go after one orb at a time. It's near impossible to do them all at the same time.

After you complete a game, where does it tell you what percentage of scans you got? Doesn't appear to be on the summary screen after the credits.

Well, I finally beat Mogenar, but even so, it still lowered a bit of my praise for the game, not to mention a bit of my excitement about continuing forward with it.

I'm not that far in the game but I gotta admit that so far the Boss battles have been frustrating.

I know you can look up your stats in the ship cockpit but I'm not sure if you can access it after you beat the game.

Spoiler:
Mogenar is by far the hardest boss in the game, because there's very little room for error. All remaining bosses are considerably easier, IMHO.

Is there any way to get screenshots off of the Wii? Seems like the only thing you can do with them are view/edit them in the photo channel or send them to someone else's wii.

I guess I'm the only one that isn't really liking this game? The controls feel too gimmicky to me. I keep hoping I'll get used to it, but I can't help but think this would be better with a regular controller.

I'm at the first boss battle. It took 10-15 minutes, but he killed me. My hand was hurting too bad to try again.
