I played Bleach, two years ago. ;)
It's a Treasure game, so I had to play it. It's a pretty solid fighter but ultimately it couldn't detract us from the sheer brilliant multi-player of Jump Ultimate Stars, so my run-in with it was pretty brief. The friend of mine who bought it played it extensively though, the sequel has been out in Japan for almost a year! |

Contra 4 still hasn't made it to the shelves at the major B&M stores like Best Buy and Future Shop up here. Looks like another delay, just like the one that happened with Castlevania: Dracula X Chronicles for PSP. I did, however, spot a few copies at an independent retailer. |

The DS controls seem a little tight to pull off some of the moves (especially the ones requiring block/run taps as those are assigned to the shoulder buttons). Haven't played single player or local multiplayer yet or even puzzle kombat... have only got around to playing about 60 rounds on multiplayer wi-fi with random players. if anyone wants to post their friend code on here, it'd be fun to play.Wi-Fi matches are pretty good with minimal lag. The only times i notice a lot of lag are when trying to pull off longer combos or when there are two Smoke characters on-screen, and sometimes lag makes the combos easier lol. I have found that a lot of players default to Kabal or Smoke b/c their stuff is easier to pull off. I try to switch it up a lot. The developers really shouldve done a new "MK Trilogy" with a lot more characters since there is still a lot of room on the cart. |

Yeah, I'll miss those imports at Fry's... even Best Buy around here carried a few imports for a while, but those have long since dried up. Most likely, the best selling ones were the anime-related ones, and a lot of them are now coming out here... not to mention that the sections for both PSP and DS are full now.

MARIO PARTY DS IS FOUR-PLAYER WITH ONLY ONE CARD!!!!!
I picked it up from GameStop this evening and came home and my wife and I fired up the DSes and started into a multi-player Battle Royale game against two Coms. The initial download was quite quick, and the mini-games are pretty fun. It's a full Mario Party experience on the DS! Just thought I'd let y'all know! |

Just curious to see if anyone knows anything about this. The (non-import) copy of Bleach: The Blade of Fate that I bought has a foil reflective type cover and English only text, but I've also seen "regular" copies with the cover printed on the standard type of paper, with English and French text on the back. Is the "shiny" cover some kind of limited run or something, or is that how all Bleach copies are in the US?

The dual language covers sound like a Canadian release.

I wonder how much the difficulty level in FF: Revenant Wings has been adjusted (upwards) for the North American release? And how long exactly is the game? I've been reading reviews that peg it at anywhere from 15-20 hours to 30-40 hours. That's a pretty huge difference.

I was wondering if Japan was now moving more toward portables. The reason I ask is because it seems none of the next gen consoles are doing as well as you would think. I'm thinking the small footprint of portables, the expensive next gen games, and PSP new features has created a perfect storm for portables in japan.

During my minor Black Friday running around I took advantage of the B2G1F used games at GameStop and grabbed Front Mission, DQM and Luminous Arc. About $55 for all three. |
Picked up the Gold DS bundle at Target this afternoon, they had plenty available, $149 with a $10 Target gift card. Not a bad price considering they are bundling a $35 game with it. The box seems bigger than it needs to be, maybe they are including the original Phantom Hourglass packaging rather than a cardboard sleeve like some previous bundles.

Any other colors coming to th U.S.? My daughter wants the Japanese Ice Blue. I asked her if she'd be happy with any other color, and she said she'd rather wait for blue.

Are there any games like Clubhouse games that allows you to play online?
|
Like Clubhouse game no, but there are many online games.
yu gi oh world tour 2007 = I played a lot of it. I think there are a lot of cheaters on it but it was still pretty fun. Mario Kart DS = I hate the snaking in this game. I forgot that I need to sell this game. Bleach = Fighting game, I played a little of this it was fun but had lag. Animal Crossing DS = Was very fun when everyone here was playing also. Had a blast trading stuff and visiting other people towns. hmmm I need pull some weeds. Ultimate Mortal Kombat = Haven't played it but will pick it up the next time I'm in a store. |
Damn these GameStop B2G1F sales. I ended buying a lot of DS games during this sale some are presents, but some are also for me. Looks like DS is the main system again this Christmas.
My son is getting Digimon Dawn and Dusk, Mega Man ZX Advent and DQM. My wife is getting Cooking Mama 2, Cake Mania, Quick Spot and Nancy Drew: The Deadly Secret of Olde World Park. I'm getting Front Mission, Luminous Arc, Hoshigami Remix, Touch of the Dead and the US version of Picross. Today is the last day for the B2G1F used games BTW. Definitely some good deals out there. |
So is the sell for all used games? Or is it just DS games?

My dream has come true. Dragon Quest IV is practically confirmed for a US release. Basically, the game was just released in Japan but some hackers have found that an almost complete English script is already in the game. It's not complete, it really needs editing and you can't simply import it and enable it.. but it's in there. This is my favorite RPG of ALL TIME. Not only that.. but it probably means that's it's highly likely that we will finally get Dragon Quest V and VI in America.
