I think the Scene-It for the 360 will be fun. It will be a nice party game to have when non-gamers are visiting.

That is also a game that will be huge into premium download content. Which is good for the game, but bad because I doubt it will be priced reasonably.

If they were smart, they'd price the starter set low and then offset it with the add-ons .. Oh, wait ... this is M$ we are talking about ...

See, I already own Scene-It, the board game, which works great for parties.

Not sure why I'd need to invest a butt-ton of money into a 360 version.

It's a completely open ended game, similar to crackdown, but in this variant, you are a super-human-esque being that ingests his prey and grows exponentially. You can disguise yourself like t1000 in T2, where you can disguise yourself as anyone you've killed as well as gain knowledge from them.

Looks amazing
The game also incorporates parkour - you know, that crazy french word for crazy people who run & jump around buildings?

OMG!

Anyone ever seen this limited edition Bioshock faceplate, show here

http://cgi.ebay.com/LIMITED-EDITION-...QQcmdZViewItem

my manager-friend said he would give it to me for free. Absolutely the best faceplate I've seen, and I have absolutely no desire to buy Bioshock

Yep. I want one, but there's no way I'm paying ebay prices and I don't know any EB/GS managers.

It's amazing to me that people would pay those prices prior to even playing the game. It's my most anticipated game but there is always a chance it might suck.

i honestly have no desire to get the game at launch (not saying I never would) but I must say, this face plate impressed the hell out of me

the thing looks amazing. Really makes other faceplates look like sh!t tbh. I wanted to offer my friend like 20 bucks, based on the quality of the face plate. Here, he didn't want to inform his underlings that he was going to give it to me for free

really though, this is pretty cheap (ebay price). If you've ever seen the Chromehounds faceplates on ebay, they go for about 80+ :/

$50 for a decorative piece of plastic for the front of a game system is not cheap. Talk him out of 2 and I'll give you $20 for it.

Not sure if it was posted yet, but Canucks can pre-order Halo 3 at Dell.ca today only for $49 plus tax with free shipping. Good deal.

I forgot to post the other day. A friend of mine called Circuit City regarding the $100 Halo 3 Legendary price mistake from way back when, just to be sure they were honoring it or if he would have to preorder elsewhere.

The CSR assured him that all pre-order prices are honored even if the price changes. So all of them will should be honored. Still far from a definitive answer but definitely sounds positive.

what still concerns me is that I ordered it online and my order still doesn't show a price.

I don't think any of them do. Mine, nor my friends does either.

A poster who works at Gamestop posted about how they got that a few weeks ago. One of my old employees (that is to say, he still works at Gamestop, I don't) snagged the faceplate from the new manager and gave it to me.

wow, thats awesome

my friend came over and dropped it off last night. I'm almost afraid to put it on my 360 so as not to damage it.

Will the HD-DVD add-on only do 1080p via the Elite's HDMI or will it do it over VGA as well? Even though I get 1080p via Component for games, I'm pretty sure that won't work for the HD-DVD. Not that $180 is low enough to get me to bite when the A2 is circling the $200 point already.

I'm pretty sure I read that it will do 1080p over VGA, but not certain.

Also, on a topic totally unrelated to yours..

Resident Evil 5 trailer up on the marketplace.

I'm almost positive it will do 1080p with HD-DVD. It would upscale normal DVDs to 1080p, so it would make sense.

Is VGA superior to component for games?
