apparently you can burn it to a DVD and play it. No different than using the OXM disc I imagine since the 360 reads DVD-Rs.

Hit Me With Your Best Shot was a fun song by the cover band who does a decent job.
Rock You Like a Hurricane was a blast to play. I've always liked the song. I think it was a cover band, but I can't recall.
Lay Down - was a bit challenging, but a good song. I've only heard their other song on the radio Talk To Her.
Even Flow - A good PJ song, but there are better ones that could have been picked. The song was a bit boring in parts as you just kept repeating the same pattern for long periods.
The Metal - Eh. I'm not really a fan of the group, and at one part in the song the vocals and music dropped to almost inaudible while still displaying notes on the screen to play.
I played through all the songs on Medium for my first time. I wanted to experience them, but not have it to easy or too hard that I couldn't complete the songs. What really messed me up though was the note streak popus. I had a good streak going in one song of 200 notes. The popup kind of covered a note and was distracting enough that I missed the next note.
Deploying Star power seems a bit easier and actually does not shake the board. The notes just take on that bluish glow.
Hammer-ons and pull-offs seem much more forgiving and their window seems a bit bigger for letting you hit them.
I hope that the game comes out in a game only as well as the bundle with a guitar on release day as I will use my GH2 guitar for that. Then, when Rock Band comes out I'll have a 2nd guitar for bass. As long as the GH2 guitar is compatible with Rock Band. I don't see why it wouldn't.

I used dvddecrypter (freeware i believe) to burn mine, worked great first try. I just burned it onto a CD-R at 4x speed just in case. The only thing that sucks is you can't calibrate your TV to sync up

Man was I disappointed. The "battle" portions have been changed to not much more than a ton of HOPO scaling crap making most of the song not feel like the original at all.

Maybe it is, I just saw the options were grayed out on the main screen. The other thing is I get booted sometimes when I play one song, other times I can play 10 or more. The first few times it only let me play one
I took a video of the first song I attempted and it didn't turn out very well after i uploaded it to youtube. I suck it up pretty bad. I'm pretty sure this song could be FC'd in a few tries. Here it is anyways:

I burned a copy of the demo tonight and had a blast with it. It looked very cool and the song selection was really fun. Now I just need to convince my wife to pick up my preorder for me when it comes in. She tries to avoid the game store most of the time but is willing to get my preorders now and then.

I can't get my burn to work. I'm using Roxio Toast. First I burned it as a disc image and mounted it before I burned it. Then I burned it as a disc image without mounting it. Both times the 360 read that as "Mixed Media Disc" but wouldn't run it if I clicked on it. Then I tried to burn it as a data file, and it also called it a Mixed Media Disc and wouldn't run it. I then tried to just do it as a disc-to-disc copy (with the ISO working a the first "disc") and that gave me an "Unplayable Disc" message in the 360. Any other tips?

Just put the disc in and go right to the demos section, it'll be there.

Okay, well. I am not thrilled at all. I am pretty good at GHII on hard, but I'm sucking here. And I'm not mad that I'm not just picking it up and running with it. I'm mad that their idea of making something harder is to just toss in a whole run of hammer ons and pull offs that aren't even in the original song. I mean, come on. It seems like with almost every song the tactic is "Get as much star power as you can and button mash through the solos because they're just going to be all HO/PO." Also, the leap between the medium and the hard versions are ridiculous. Hopefully the charts for Rock Band are better thought out than this.
By the way, for anyone looking to calibrate lag, you can't do it through the main menu, but if you start a song and then hit pause, there's an option menu that will take you to the lag calibration.

The HO/PO system has also been loosened over GH2. There's a larger window to pull them off and I was hitting stuff I definitely would never hit consistently on GH2.
It's been a long time since I've done the jump from Medium to Hard, so I can't really relate with you guys. However, it's the same as the jump from GH1 to GH2. The GH2 note charts were way more difficult than 1's, but they increased the timing window on things to make it playable. Looks like they've done the same thing again.
