Great news! (from Joystiq) The Chronicles of Riddick is being revisited. Remake planned for 360 & PS3. So no more need for waiting on the original to hit the BC list.

With The Darkness now a month away from being in their rearview, developer Starbreeze will be returning to its old punching grounds with a remake of the surprisingly good Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay, according to UK industry mag MCV. The story has also popped up in Game Informer.

Pro-G reports that the game is currently titled The Chronicles of Riddick: Assault on Dark Athena and is headed to Xbox 360 and PS3. It's also apparently got online multiplayer and a "developer's commentary mode" which has us praying that Vin Diesel has time to make a special guest appearance. (Spoiler alert: He does.) Vivendi apparently wouldn't confirm the story to Pro-G, but said that an announcement would be coming soon: We're already turning off all the lights and drinking protein shakes in anticipation.
Awesome. I'd easily put Riddick in my top 5 on Xbox last gen. Graphically it hasn't aged well, so seeing it on the 360 will be sweet. I just wonder if this will be a full SRP title since it is a remake.

That'll be the deal breaker for me.

I guess I meant it wasn't clear because there seems to be Modders who aren't banned and Banned players who swear they never modded. Granted they may full of shit. Also, I saw a report of a person who swears he didn't mod but he claims the refurbed 360 he got back may have been modded so he got screwed. xbox.com has some interesting stories. Anyway, who knows...

Hmmm.. That is interesting. That would truly suck and I guess I can see that happening. I'm not 100% what the mod is now a days because I won't take the chance with this system that I play mostly on Live..

I thought it was some sort of firmware or something.

A friend of mine bought a broken/red ring 360 for cheap, flashed non-approved firmware on the drive, and he says it works better than his non-broken 360.

I switched out my console before my PRP expired. Now I am experiencing some live troubles. I am playing Call of Duty 3 and during a cut scene my game freezes asks me to log in under another user. It even gave me the option of signing on as Guest. I tried that to see what it would do and it said I needed a Live account. But my regular account is what I want to choose anyway.

Also, I bought Double Dragon before switching out consoles. Now I have to download the full version every time I want to play it. All my other Arcade games are fine. Very annoying. Does this have something to do with the update?

Just saw a commercial for Forza 2 on the Suns/Spurs game. Man, that looks pretty damn good.

I can't wait, I've been playing through Forza 1 since the demo came out, and man, I can't wait, especially with all the new painting/design tools.

There's also a buzz about bannings for 360's having accounts that don't match the owner's region. Again, since modding seems to be the main known reason for bannings I'm not sure how legit this is.

There was talks about them banning Live accounts that didn't match the region, mainly for safety with the Video Marketplace. I got on my Japanese account last week and downloaded the Trusty Bell demo with no problems.

Does anyone have 3d mini golf that it willing to play with me?

It seems that no one on my friends list owns this game, and only have 2 online achievements left finish up this game.

I've tried at different times of day and it says there are no games available.

I'll probably dl it tonight. Have had a blast with the other XBL Arcade games I've bought.

At work so I can't see what other games you have/play. Do you have Frogger? Gyruss? Been wanting to unlock the co-op achievements on those, but can't ever find games.

I've got every arcade game. I'll play any co-op if you see me on, as long as I'm not playing Halo 2 or Halo 3.

Question on the headsets. If you are using the wired headsets are you supposed to hear the other chat party through the speakers as well, or just through the headset? I have the 360 hooked up to a receiver via optical digital, and I hear the chat responses through both the headset and speakers. It's kind of annoying as I don;t want other people in my house to hear the conversations. I don't hear me through the speakers, though.

You can customize how you want the chat sounds to be: Headset, TV speakers or both.

It's a rare game that I end up playing for more than a week. In that week I've either beaten it (to the best of my abilities) or gotten tired of it. I just don't like spending $60 on a game.

That same $60 gets me 6-12 games that I end up playing just as much. If I total up all the arcade games I really didn't like, it would still be under the $60 I spent on my least-liked game.

I'm still missing a few: Jetpac Refueled, Double Dragon, and maybe one more.

Except all the games you bought have zero value.
