Honestly I'd wager they are going to announce '80s songs for next DLC.

still, I think it stinks that they claimed "the most DLC of any game" as a way of getting sales, and then backed off that promise with 12 songs so far.

No laughing...I'm not very good at this game...
One thing I always have a ton of trouble with is on parts like "Guitar Solo i" on Freebird, where you go back and forth between 2 notes really fast - like red/yellow/red/yellow/red/yellow, etc. - I just cannot get these for the life of me. Any suggestions? I've practiced them on slow speeds and can't even get them very good.
<---- Me
Just to show how bad I am, I've 5 starred everything on medium (big whoop), but can only beat about 10 songs on hard. If I could figure out how to do the above it would help me a ton. HO & POs also give me trouble (the song holding me up on hard is Woman, where you go up and down using them in quick succession). Anywho, just thought maybe somebody would have a suggestion. This is one of the things that seems like (without having actually played a guitar before) it seems as though it would be easier to do on a real guitar.

I've NEVER played this game, and only seen it once for about 30 seconds. It ships to me on Wednesday...bought it on hype alone.
Tell me what to expect...how does it work, etc.

Woman is a very difficult song. My wife has 5*'d 18 of the first 20 songs on Hard, with Woman being one she struggles to consistently 4*. Many people complain about the song, so don't get discouraged.

I finally beat Freebird on hard last night. So that difficulty is now 48/48. I'm working my way up the expert ladder, currently 21/48 complete. I'm in the top five of my friends list for career score. I'm right on the heals of maxflier but the gap after that is pretty big.

)? I've got a custom PS2 disc which contains the 360 exclusive songs so I'd like to see where I fall in the overall rankings once I add all my song scores together, and not just the less used XBOX rankings on Scorehero.

Made that post a while back, and it's easier to just link it than to retype all that (especially given Scorehero's nifty little note drawing system).
Freya's one of those songs that's pretty easy once you get a good fingering method down, and it went from one of my least favorite ones to one I play at least once a session.
