Yep... I downloaded them this morning before work. I figured I'd get in before the rush of people downloading if I waited until after work.

$4 for both maps. Download took about 5-10 minutes. Though I am not certain. I started the download, got ready for work. When I was finished, the maps were done.

Played a few minutes on each to check them out. Very nice looking. They should make for some intense, fast passed matches.

Downloaded the new maps and checked them both out. I like the changes made to both maps and can't wait to play it with a lot of people.

On Tombstone theres an area you can run up a ramp that leads to the top of a large square area. If you look around you'll be tempted to jump over onto the top of a light and then jump over to an "off-map" area cuz it looks like a nice lil sniper spot and easily accessible. Don't waste your time. There isn't an invisible wall there to keep you from getting to the area, but instant death as soon as you jump from the light.

Anyone check out the HALO 3 multiplayer behind the scenes on Marketplace? I didn't know it was up til yesterday. That new Shield grenade looks hella kickass.

Thank you! I couldn't remember the name. There was Alien Crush and Devil's Crush. DC was the better of the two but both were fun.

I did manage to catch that before I sent the 360 in for repair. Halo 3 is looking awesome.

Speaking my sending my 360 in for repair, it looks like it will be delivered to the depot today, a day ahead of schedule. Anyone have any feedback on how long repair time might be?

im pretty sure they just swap it with one thats already repaired. So just as long as it takes to put a refurb in a box for you.

Actually, part of the new rules set in motion by MS a few weeks back, when they released the new warranty info, is that you will get yours back. No more shipping out random refurb units as replacements.

I'm not sure if that's good or bad. I guess if they're repairing, it will take a little longer, though I can't imagine it would take too long to swap out a bad DVD drive. I wonder how many units they handle in a day? Tracking says it was delivered this morning. I'm hopeful it will ship by the end of the week.

Hey - didn't I declare this thread should be locked while I'm 360-less?

I don't spring for many arcade titles but the Mini Golf is something that I will probably get unless the trial is a total abomination.

However, just swapping out the drive on a repair causes problems if you have more than one person/gamertag using the box. Any downloaded content is then tied only to the gamertag that purchased it, and other people in the household can't use it. I think they might be working on something to fix this in the Spring update, but it will probably be kept secret and only used internally during repairs to unbind and rebind content to a box.

Surely the specific DVD drive in the unit has nothing to do with tying the DLC to a gamer tag and/or hardware. Maybe you're talking about the hard drive?

I totally was thinking about the hard drive. That's what I get for posting first thing in the morning.

I don't know how all you people are posting in this locked thread.

My 360 is repaired and on its way home.

Less than 12 hours in the shop, as far as I can tell.

We'll see. I took a picture of the bar code before I shipped it. The tracking number they gave seems bogus though. UPS doesn't seem to know anything about it yet, and the e-mail says it was shipped on April 10.

They do that. I got an email saying the same thing. It just means the repair is done and sitting ready to ship. UPS hasn't actually picked it up yet.

That wouldn't surprise me. I've seen that kind of thing before, too. It just seems odd the e-mail said it was shipped on April 10. That's about the date they shipped the empty box to me.

I'm hopeful that I'll have it by the weekend (it was 2 business days to ship it out there), but I'm not holding my breath.

Xbox Live Arcade Mini Golf.

Anyone get it yet? Your thoughts? Reviews?

I read this at teamxbox.com sounds kind of "averageish", which sucks because I was REALLY looking forward to this.

Average sounds about right. Some of the courses are ridiculously easy to get a Hole-in-1 on.

That last hole on the golf trial is some messed up stuff. I applaud their creativity but after getting a +4 on it I was less than happy. I might let the wife try if and if she likes it I'll go ahead and buy it.

The tracking number is now finally in the UPS system, but only shows as "billing information received".

Crappity.

Anyone get Gyruss yet? I played it last night, and the original audio sounds totally wrong.
