Who's getting Crackdown today?

I'm 4 star on Agility and Strength. 3 star on everything else. I've noticed it takes longer to level up the Firearms one.
Driving makes me nuts. Trying to get the stunt things are killing me.

I maxed out my character last night. -- in every one. 4* driving in the SUV kicks ass.
As for Firearms, here's what I did, and leveled up rather quickly. Go to the Shai-gen checkpoint between Timbol & Yin, I forget the name. Hop around the roofs using the firefly on gang members until you get a hit squad. Stay near the checkpoint. Once they start arriving in cars, use an automatic weapon and blow up their gas tanks. Takes them out in no time and you level up fairly quickly. Plus you are right next to the check point to save/reload and repeat.
As for 4* Driving, drive around Muertos. Hop out in a heavy gang area, use the firefly again to obliterate gang members until you get a hit squad. Hop back in your SUV and drive over everyone. Muertos is good because the gang weapons aren't as powerful and your car lasts a lot longer than on the other two islands.
Anyone have any tips on getting the "carjacking" Achievement? Good area to try? I'm not having any luck with the 6 stunts in 60 seconds either.

I hate this game!!! I wanted to go to bed early last night, but then I found Romanova, and I just had to kill her, and that got me my fourth star in agility, which meant i had to jump around the map exploring. Then I spent a half hour trying to get to the orb on top of the Pacific Bank Building (didn't make it), and another half hour trying to get to the top of Peacekeeper HQ (didn't make that either), and now I'm operating on 4 hours of sleep today.
Stupid addicting Crackdown.

Heh.. wait until you have 1 agility orb left. I've been all over the map countless times each of the last few days. I can't find that damn orb.
I still need to find about 35 hidden orbs as well to have them all.

Stunt Rings: A co-op buddy can toss you through the all stunt rings while you are sitting in a car. Quick and easy if you have a competent partner and a map of the rings.
Carjacking: (One of the most annoying achievements) After the game is finished, turn crime on and head to any section of the city. The trick is not to have a wanted meter when yanking someone out of their ride (they should be white dots rather than red). It takes a while to get them all.
6 Stunts in 60 seconds: Again, much easier in co-op. Have your partner keep tossing you up in the air and just do barrel rolls.

I played this game too much yesterday. 6 hours later I was trying to go to sleep and I couldn't get images of the game out of my head.
I'm at 4+ stars on everything except for driving (3). I haven't seen the Shai Gen area yet. I was using a technique similar to Michael Corvin's yesterday in the Volk area. There's a supply point near the nuclear plant's cooling towers. You can stay near the supply point and take out groups of bad guys that respawn pretty quickly. I was really close to bumping up explosives to 4 stars yesterday so I spent a few minutes there with the firefly until I got the 4th star.
Somehow I got the achievement for jumping off of the agency tower into the water, but I've even been close to the top of the tower.
This is easily one of my favorite games in a long time. Good games for the 360 are just rolling out one after another.

Carjacking: Seems like this will take forever. Throughout the game I'd carjack when I could. Planned ahead. Probably only have 25 or so though. Any location preference?
6 Stunts: Didn't know that one. I'll have to try that as well.
Thanks!

I had no idea the agency cars could transform. I'll have to concentrate on my driving skill more - right now it's been a total afterthought.
I am having a blast with the game. I was trying to kill a Volk boss and had been taking the Agency Supercab in to smash through the obstacles. There was one truck that kept ramming me and basically bringing me to a halt. I thought I'd try the Supercar and, when he tried to ram me again, I slammed into him and he ramped up and over me, smash into some barrels and exploded. What a great game.
One of my favorite things to do is stand on the median of one of the interstates and shoot out car tires as people drive by. It's amazing to see what the physics engine does when you do that, including the pile-up that usually follows.

Throwing a car through stunt rings is a great idea in co-op. I never thought of that.

Has anyone attempted all the races? I've done a few so far. There is one in the volk area that seems to trouble everyone. It is the alleys race where you have 1:40 to complete it in. If you have beat that one and can offer any tips, that would be great.

I'm pretty sure I beat that one. All I have left are the road races on Shai-Gen.
SUV + level 4. The second marker is in a dead end. There is a curb that you can't get over in a car. I couldn't ramp up the stairs correctly to get over that curb. I tried a few times to no avail. Hopping with the SUV works wonders. It also helps you reach marker 3. Problem is at some point there is a tunnel with markers on the entrance and exit that the SUV can't fit in. Hit the one at the entrance and go around the building to hit the exit.

I'll have to give that a try. I continued on my quest for my 500th agility orb at lunch. 35 minutes of searching, no luck.
I did do one Shai-gen road race. So I have 3 more to go. 2 on Shai-gen and the alleys race in Volk territory.

That would be cool Miyu.. Send me an invite if you ever see me in a game by myself.
I found ways to amuse myself while looking for the orb last night. I played a game of "kill the hooker" in Volk territory. I know the name and action is in poor taste, but there are so many "women of the night" walking around in bra, panties and fish-net stalkings.

Another fun thing to do is line up the ramp trucks side by side on the freeway so that all the traffic either has to slam on their brakes or jump off the ramp. Most of them try to swerve out of the way but a few get shot up over the ramps.

I got bored looking for shit last night myself. I had a blast kicking moving cars off the expressway into the ocean. Or just picking up the car with driver inside send them plummeting to the waters below. Cops and all.

I like shooting out the tires and watching the people try to skid away. I once shot out all 4 tires and the person drove away and sparks were flying all over the place.

I was glad I finally got the chance to try out co-op mode. It's definitely more enjoyable than single player mode.

I have to admit - the demo kind of annoyed me but I have the retail game and I love it now. There are some little quirks I don't like. (the lack of fighting skills, kick only?) but the ability to level up has me hooked. I just run around looking for orbs, jumping off shit, doing tricks, I'm no where near the end but I'm 4 in everything except firearms.

Another good way to really raise up your driving skill is to do the following. I've helped Czar do this and he was able to raise his driving from maybe 1 * to max in about 1.5 hours at most.
Start a co-op game, and try to stay near a supply point so that you can reload weapons and jump to the agency if the person trying to raise their skill needs another car. The easiest place to do it is Los Muertos as they don't use anything other then guns and the occasional grenade.
You use your gun and shoot out the legs of the gang members so that they fall to the ground. The person you are helping then runs over them in the Agency SUV. Repeat until they max out their skill. You will probably need to get a new vehicle a few times. You can either use vehicles of gang members or police cars, or use the supply point to jump to the agency for a fresh SUV.

That's great. I love how there are so many ways to go about everything in the game. When I lost my agency car I just extracted my Agent and restarted in the Keep to get a new one.

Yeah.. You can target their legs to make them fall, arms to drop weapons, body(the default when you start firing at them) or head for usually a 1 bullet kill.
The head targeting takes the longest, but does get quicker as you gain levels.
I've got 4 achievements left to go in this game. Co-op all missions, find all agility orbs(1 damn one left), find all hidden orbs(36 left), and find all stunt markers.

I've snuck into the shai gen area despite not beating any of the volk bosses just so i could pick up some new weapons. The firefly is awesome. So is the new sniper rifle.
