Firearms was the second skill I maxed out. The first was strength.

Agility was next, then explosives and driving was the hardest.

Not the hardest, but one of the last because I much prefer running around with explosives(grenades, rockets) or kicking people off buildings. I rarely used guns, especially once I got the Firefly. That weapon is a bit overpowered.

Mine went:

Agility -> Strength -> Explosives -> Driving -> Firearms

I would like to see another area that requires 4 stars in your abilities to successfully navigate. Then have more orbs and races and the like and the ability to get a 5th star in your abilities.

Some weapon cooler to play with than the Firefly would be neat. Maybe even something weaker but has homing. Like a homing tranq gun. How fun would it be to be chasing a co-op partner and nail them mid jump with something that puts them to sleep so they fall out of their jump.

That would be an awesome weapon. It would bring a whole new level to the game.

I do think the game was one area short of being the perfect size. So another island would be outrageous, but doubtful for a free download. I wonder if it is even possible.

It's interesting to hear how people have maxed out - maybe it's my play style, and I am not maxed on everything, but my order will be:

Firearms>Explosives>Strength>Agility>Driving

Apparently I shoot and throw grenades a lot

On another note, where do you get the Firefly again? I just cleared Volk island the other night and never saw a rocket launcher besides the Hothead.

The Firefly is in Shai-gen territory and they certainly do love that weapon.

Strength>Agility>Explosives>Firearms>Driving

I kick all the bosses to death which seemed to give me a ton of extra strength points. I spend almost all my time jumping around rooftops, and I'm only at about 450 on agility orbs, but leveled up rather quickly. Explosives was as easy as finding the firefly, it was just a question of how long I felt like spending leveling that up. Firearms was tough because I couldn't find any way to do it other than one at a time. It took more than 5 times as long to get the necessary points as using one firefly rocket. I finally just kept doing time trials with easy bosses and killing the minions with one of my SMGs. I royally suck at driving, I cannot kill those bastards when they're running around. That one took me forever, and I'm still just barely at ****. It's going to take an awfully long time to max that out, but I do like the guns on the supercar.

I maxed out explosives first - I got the grendier early on because I ended up with the boss at the sports complex first on co-op. Blowing people up never gets old. Agility, strength, firearms were to follow and I'm still working on driving.

Read post 177 for some tips on that.

Also, the tip I posted helps a great deal and speeds things up a bit. It takes 2 people to do this.

Person A is the one helping Person B max out their driving skill.

Start a co-op game, and Person A stays near a supply point so that you they reload weapons and jump to the agency if the Person B trying to raise their skill needs another car. The easiest place to do it is Los Muertos as they don't use anything other then guns and the occasional grenade.

Person A uses their gun and shoots out the legs of the gang members so that they fall to the ground. Person B then runs over them in the Agency SUV. Repeat until they max out their skill. Person B will probably need to get a new vehicle a few times. You can either use vehicles of gang members or police cars, or use the supply point to jump to the agency for a fresh SUV.

For me, it's been:

Agility > Strength > Firearms > Explosives > Driving

The only constant between the way people are leveling up seems to be that Driving is last - which reveals the weakest aspect of the game.

WOW, much better Hidden Orb guide than that IGN low-res P.O.S.: http://picasaweb.google.com/frodekn/HiddenOrbs

Here is a link to the high-res numbered map: For reference

I wouldn't say it is the weakest, it's just unnecessary when you can traverse the map much quicker on rooftops. Not to mention it is more fun. The supercar/SUV is fun once they are powered up.

Then what's weaker than the driving? I don't mean that the driving is "bad", per se, just that everything else (jumping/shooting) is more fun and less frustrating.

Hey, where do you find Cowell in the Shai Gen territory? I've looked and looked, but can't find him. I just need to scout him so I can get that achievement. Not ready to fight him yet.

Ok, I've been slowly knocking out the achievements for this and am getting incredibly frustrated with the stunt driver one. Anyone have some advice on how to get a 200 ft. jump? I found a little ramp-shaped rock by the sports complex that I can use to jump to the beach, but neither the car nor the SUV seem to get far enough to get the achievement. That's easily the farthest jump I've been able to find in the game and I'm about to go nuts from trying it over and over and over again.

I got it by parking the ramp truck at the top of an exit from from the freeway in the Los Muertos area. Then, I drove far back, drove to the ramp and just kept the car level.

I can't recall if I used the SUV or Supercar. I do know that I was 4* in driving, I believe, when I got it.

Go to the beach in the Los Muertos area.

There's a beach between the carnival area and the pier that has two beachhouses which have ramps that you could perform a majority of the stunts off of. I used a lvl4 suv to attain the stunt achievements. If you still need more height or distance, there's a truckramp nearby that you can set up.

Played this game last night for about an hour, and am very unimpressed. Do you do anything besides go around and kill whatever gang member there is?

There are objectives -- you're trying to take out the kingpins and underbosses of the various gangs. But if you're not digging the sheer insanity of killing gang members with different types of guns and explosives, scaling every building in the city and jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and doing crazy things with the cars, then this game is probably not for you.

I'm having trouble with the 6 stunts in 60 seconds. I tried the co-op thing in the supercar and I can't get the car to flip when it is thrown.

Use the agent SUV instead, if your driving skills are maxed out, you can press B to make it jump. Go to the beach in Los Muertos and do barrel rolls off the small makeshift ramps on the brown houses littered on the beach. That's what worked for me.
