As mentioned, I still owe allegiance to the Queen - so I KNOW English. For example, did you know that Bangers and Mash aren't sausage and mashed potatoes like people think. It's a reference to gangbangers and a form of crack - while it's still wet and mixing with your baking soda (your mash).

Although police have so far refused to make a connection between the lorryjackings, the fact that both trucks belonged to the same company -- Hellman Worldwide Logistics -- suggests that the bandits found security so lax on the first go-round that they decided to strike again while the iron was hot. According to reports, the most recent heist began after thieves tricked the truck driver into pulling over due to an object caught under his wheels, where they proceeded to drag him out of the cab, deliver a beating, and leave him injured on the side of the highway. Police are also speculating that, despite their success, the robbers were still of below-average intelligence, which is the only explanation as to why they would try to jack Xbox's instead of the much more lucrative PS3. And, in completely unrelated news, Amazon was somehow able to offer 1,000 360s yesterday for only $100 each.
Thank you, case closed!
No, not regarding the thefts, regarding, oh never mind.
Edited to add: that bastard who wrote the article, stole my joke!

Mouse and Keyboard Functionality Coming to Xbox 360
Posted on Wednesday, November 22 @ 23:59:17 PST
XCM has released the first information about the XFPS 360, a device that will allow you to hook up a mouse & keyboard to your Xbox 360. Not only that it also gives your standard X360 controller an auto fire function, and even allows you to hook up the PS2's Dual shock 2. While this is not an officially licensed product it must be a sure welcome for FPS fans, especially with upcoming PC/Xbox 360 titles offering cross platform multiplayer functionality.

Did anyone pre-order Lost Planet yet? I had heard if you preordered you'd get a special dl code for another free map, but when I preordered today at EB they didn't give me anything.

Anyone see any deals for the wireless racing wheel? A buddy of mine really wants one and I figure I might try and get him one as a christmas present if I can find a deal on it.

I went to Best Buy tonight and saw 100 premium xbox360s laying around (by the service counter, flipped to make big circles.), and then I suddenly remembered why I don't camp out for systems.

Does anyone's 360 work horizontally but not vertically? I have used mine horizontally for the entire time I have had it (since March). Last night, in anticipation of a move to my computer desk and VGA cables, I tried to use it vertically for the first time. The DVD tray will not open. When I press the button, I hear it try to open but it gets "stuck".

I tried this with 2 other friends and it works fine but this certain person has problem s connecting only to me and I am having problem connecting only to him. When we join other friends games or chat with anyone else its fine. Strange

I've had this same exact problem with at least two people and it seems to be something to do with the router. After much frustration I decided to try to connect the 360 directly to the modem and sure enough I was able to connect to the person. I think our routers conflict for some reason. Otherwise I never have problems with anyone else using my router.

I agree with Steelgear. I had a friend that had the same problem. Some of us could hear him others not. He would log out and rejoin our game then a different group could hear him and others not.
He fiddled with his router(don't have a clue what he did) and it has worked fine ever since.

I don't understand the networking bit so someone could probably explain it better than i but i do know i was having this same problem in Halo 2 and i was using an older router that could only do moderate in the NAT settings (which according to the FAQs i read could cause these problems). I bought a new router that was listed as being Xbox Live compliant, had open NAT, and the problems went away.
