What is Zelda Extreme? Is that the shorthand for the Wii version of TP?

Others seem to disagree though. But personally out of the other systems I've played over the years, the GC is the one controller I could not get comfortable with.

Just a reminder that Toys r Us is having a B2G1 free deal this week, so you might want to pick them up now if you can.

Thanks for the headsup on that, it's actually what sparked my question to begin with, but the selection online is pretty meager, and I don't have a TRU accessible to me nearby. But I'll take a look tonight after work on the site again.

Pixy's way of griping about adult link/ "mature" make over for the game compared to Celda.

I think that was the joke. The person to your left side has long hair that hits your profile perfectly to make it kind of look like you have an ape drape.

The side profile shot makes you look like a shorter Brendan Fraser.

actually thats correct, he asked for someone to correct him and you did appropriately (and if you don't then I will), 2 vs 1 = win .

Looking forward to your impressions pixy. Somehow I always pictured you'd look different, but then again thats a problem I have with everyone on the internet.

I was listening to this month's wiik in review/ign podcast. They said there wii-mote thing blew up when they turned the lights in the room out while playing Red Steel. Has anyone else heard about this? They moved quickly to another topic so I couldn't tell if they were joking or not.

They said that the wii-mote literally exploded? I'm not sure how one could gloss over something like that.

Is the Wii going to be more powerful than the Xbox and PS2? Will all the games include Dolby 5.1 and 480p widescreen support? thanks

Probably about Xbox level graphics (above PS2 level). No Dolby 5.1 (only prologic). MOST games will be 480p/widescreen...but not all.

It was a joke based on a story from a week ago. There were rumors going that the sensor bar didn't operate properly in sun light.

It's Wii Shooting (or Wii Shoot, can't remember correctly). It's in the Wii Play mini game compilation that is coming out at lauch in Japan and packed with an extra Wiimote.

Not sure why we are not getting it here for launch.

Good question, hopefully we'll get it in early December as well. As much as I'd love for it to come with a Wiimote over here, somehow I'm thinking our "deal" is the Wii Sports bundle. Would love to be wrong because $60 for a controller set with Wii Play that includes what is essentially Duck Hunt is a no-brainer.

hardly seems like a deal considering other countries that are not getting WiiSports with the Wii are paying $200 rather than our $250

Hence the ""deal"" comment.

Xbox with shaders is probably more accurate.

You're making me nervous with how long it's taking for your impressions Pixy. I have been eagerly awaiting your review since you mentioned getting your hands on the system.
