I'm feeling a little relieved now having missed out on all the preorder madness earlier, I think I might actually be able to get a Wii on release day!

I don't see why not!

BUT... We may have a snag. It appeards the 3 Wii Games = $20 Gift Card may be good for LAUNCH DAY -ONLY-

Hmmmm.... I guess I could wait a few extra hours to get the games at Gamestop, and then try my luck at Target as soon as they open.

Hmmm... this would require me to get up early Sunday though ... after being up partying at the midnight sale about 8 hours before.

And so here Wii are. Less than two weeks and counting until the most innovative product the video game industry has seen hits the streets.

This Thursday evening (CST), November 9, your opportunity to get in on the excitement arrives when our Wii bundle becomes available for pre-order online at EBgames.com. You'll get the best games, accessories and more in one convenient package delivered right to your door - all for under $699 plus tax and handling!

Quantities are extremely limited and there will be a limit of 1 Wii bundle per household, limited to US delivery only. Ordering a bundle does not guarantee shipment at launch and orders will be shipped on a first-come, first-serve basis. The bundle will be removed from the site as soon as we have reached our expected quota.

$699? WTF... WTF.

The two Targets nearest me are getting 60 each.

I'm also interested in EBGames' bundle....and if that's the only way they're selling it [a despicable practice imho; made slightly more palatable if you can pick your own games].

EB Games has announced what their bundle is going to be:

The Nintendo Wii bundle includes the following items:

Nintendo Wii Console (includes 1 remote controller, 1 nunchuck, cables, sensor bar, console stand, and Wii Sports game)
Wii Memory SD 1GB
Additional Wii Remote Controller
6 Games:
Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess
Trauma Center: Second Opinion
Red Steel
Marvel Ultimate Alliance
Super Monkey Ball Banana Blitz
Madden NFL 2007
12 Month Product Replacement Plan
Game Informer Gift Subscription

$694.88 plus tax and handling

I think I'll pass and take my chances at Target.

Basically $104.96 for 12-month replacement plan (which, ime, is completely unnecessary with Nintendo products), GI subscription, and 1 GB SD card.

What a joke. Even if you wanted all 6 of those games, you're getting hosed on the other things. There's no value here.

I wonder if the "additional controller" in the EB Bundle includes a Nunchuck?

My impression is that it is just the Wiimote and does not include the nunchuck. If it did, that would drop the "extra" cost to $84.97. Now that I look at that, it makes more sense since 3 things ending in .99 would end up at .97. Maybe it does.

I'm sorry if this has already been asked or mentioned, but is there any new information on the Toys 'R Us Canadian bundle? I have one pre-ordered and I want to know if the games are your choice/if you get first dibs over others who are waiting in line or have games pre-ordered (I doubt it - at least for the latter)?

Now, I've gotten a warlock up to 44. But once again, all my quests are for dungeons. I've got quests for Scartlet Monestary, Zul Farrack, Uldaman, and Razorfen Downs. There isn't much incentive to go to any of these places, since none of the rewards for the quests give me anything a warlock could use. I know there could be some cool drop, but I don't have time to do these things once, much less over and over trying to get the supercool warlock drop.

I've done quests in Feralas, Tenaris, and the Hinterlands, but now the only quests I can find are too high for me (48ish). Some douche even tried to give me a quest for the Sunken Temple, which is a level 53 quest. So what should I be doing now? I can dump all these dungeon quests, but there really aren't any other quests at my level I can find! Argh
i assume wrong thread?

A friend of mine works for a TRU in Canada and informed me that people who preordered a bundle will get to pick from the following choices:

Ant Bully
Barnyard
Cars
Happy Feet
Open Season

While I was at BB, they had a bunch of coupons to use. The only one I wanted was $5 off Elebits.

They some others, for those of you buying Zelda and Call of Duty 3, can't remember how much off it was. Maybe someone can look, there were a ton, I'm not sure if they were supposed to be put out yet.

I've never had an issue with any Nintendo hardware with the exception of the flimsy analog stick on the N64 controllers.

My NES still works twenty years later. I doubt I will be able to say the same for today's consoles.

Noticed in Sunday's Meijer ad that you can get a free nunchuck when you buy the system and an extra wiimote. That's the bundle Sam's should have had.

Meijer my be my top choice now.

A friend of mine called Saturday about this deal. He told me it was Buy the wii, get the second remote and nunchuck free.

I tend to believe your version more, as 60 bucks is almost too good to be true as a savings on a launch console.

I'm sure he probably misread the ad. Can anyone confirm?

Still the best deal I've heard of, but there are no Meijer's within rational driving distance from me.
