And again it has nothing to do with being cheap. I have a 360 and bought around 10 games. I have no qualms about buying something I want. So one last time, it is about the forced purchse that I don't want, when that money could be better spent somewhere else, like on a game I do want. It has nothing to do with perceived value either. i.e. "the system is worth $250, just look at it that way." If that was true they wouldn't pack in WiiSports or offer it cheaper elsewhere. Or this well informed nugget "it's 2006 it should be more than $200 anyway." But this time, the controls were even more like the actual sport, and we had perhaps too much fun casting our line in realistic fashion and lazily reeling it back in by making a reeling motion with the nunchaku. |

I think Majora's Mask is the only one that features the same Link (the one from Ocarina) and I believe the DS game will feature the same Link from Wind Waker. |
Let's not forget that this Link IS the same Link as the Link from Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask.

Maybe Link is ambidextrous, and he sprained his left wrist playing tennis or something...?
|
Playing Wii tennis, no less.

(I hoped someone would catch that. ;))

Is the left/right handed thing really a big deal? I mean come on it's a little petty, don't you think?

Will the 'Cube RGB cable work with the Wii?
Composite will look terrible :( Surely thats not the only output you can use? The 'Cube only came with composite cables but you could use an RGB cable. |
The Cube component cables had better work because I went to far too much trouble to get them.
|
Since 'Cube games will work with it, I'm sure some other form of video output must be provided, even if you have to buy something seperate.
I haven't got component output on my set, only composite and RGB. |
How is it that the "affordable" next-gen console is now going to run me approx $430-450 to get the bundle I want?
Console - 250 Controller - 60 Game - ~50 Component Cables - ~40 Tax - 32.40 |

It's hard to tell for sure, but the slot on the back of the Wii looks an awful lot like the one on my SNES...maybe the old cables will work afterall. |
The problem is it only has one AV port. The Cube component cables don't have audio outs on them. I see no way they will work on the Wii. That picture is too small for me to tell, but it looks a lot like the component port on the Cube. However, without a second port to hook up audio we are out of luck for using the Cube cable.
|
Oh. Sorry about that. I didn't know that was the case. I figured every Nintendo cable would be more or less the same.
|
Does the Wii Sports disc have full versions of each game on them or it is a demo of each game?
