So maybe Resistance will be the new Blasto*?
*For those that don't remember, Blasto was a game released on the PS1. Sony hyped that game up like crazy. They wanted to turn it into a franchise and there was even talk of making Blasto Sony's official mascot. Once the game came out though, it was purely mediocre and hardly anyone bought it. Nowadays, I would be surprised if anyone even remembers the game at all as it was quickly forgotten about after the absymal sales.

Well, Resistance is being made by Insomniac who have a good track-record. Of course, that track-record has been built by making decent platform games where most of that genre was limited to shovel-ware Disney and Nickelodeon games. They've got a lot more work to do to make themselves stand out in the FPS genre.

I'm sure MS will gladly take your money for a warranty.

Ugh... I hate how they mix the free stuff with the non free stuff in the Marketplace. I started downloading the free themes and gamerpics (the Battlestar Galactica ones) and there were a bunch of free ones in a row, so I was happily clicking away, accidentally buying the Halo Wars theme. There was a confirmation screen, it's only 150 points, and I guess the theme is ok, so I guess I have no reason to complain, but I wanted to avoid these little money grabs as much as possible.
I also noticed they have some kind of replay editor for NBA2K for sale. And "video game guides."

I guess golf games aren't for me. I downloaded Tiger Woods (holy crap what a long and slow download), and so far my favorite thing to do is to hit other people with the ball knocking them down.

I really liked the Tiger demo. It was a vast improvement over the weak shit they passed off as a 360 game last year. I'm torn because I want Tiger but I really want to get COD3 so I can play with everyone from the forum.

My 360 crapped out again. My box is coming friday to ship back out. I have had every system except for the neo geo and 3D0 and this is the first system to ever fail on me. Very disheartening.

My review will be up later, but in short: Dig-Dug is a waste of Marketplace points.
The lack of a multiplayer mode, incredibly easy achievements, and quick completion annihilate the replay value of the title.

I'm liking the Tiger demo, but unfortunately I'm not buying any EA Sports games until they revise their policies regarding microtransactions. Too bad as it seems a really solid golf game.

When isaw Dig Dug was coming I'm almost bought points to purchase it. Then I downloaded the demo about an hour ago and although it was nice to play it after so many years, it didn't look or sound good.
I guess I'm one of the rare "gamers" out here who has a hard time being Backwards compatible with old game graphics and sound. I can't go back to old school video games.

Im going to start selling stuff on ebay and wanted to know if anyone let me know if the 360s have differeny disc drives like the original xbox, or what models/versions would be the best to buy to descrease the risk of overheating or crashing. Thanks
