This article makes it seem like CoD3 is going to be amazing. http://xbox360.ign.com/articles/737/737755p1.html

Not sure I like the idea of having classes, as it adds more strategy to the game and takes away from just war mayhem. We'll see, but it's shaping up to be a pretty kick ass game.

I'd say almost any Samsung LCD HDTV will do fine. As i said before, the Sammys used for the 360 displays looked amazing.

Going to read the article now but i adore the idea of classes in FPS like this. That is one of the big reasons i'm looking forward to Team Fortress 2.

I have to agree with you. I remember the first time I played team fortress and I really thought that the classes were a great part of it. Having Medics incorporated into your team is a great idea and they can be very useful in the right hands. It looks like with the smoke and close combat weapons they should be a welcome change to everyone wanting to be a sniper.

War mode doesn't sound as revolutionary as they were attempting to make it, why do more and more reviews sound like advertisements and less like reviews, but it does sound cool. It should be one of the most popular modes at the start and then of course deathmatch/team deathmatch and capture the flag will resume the top positions.

I'm just curious how the online play for COD2 will be when this comes out. I am really missing COD2 right now.

After reading the preview i'm definately picking this up day one. I am all over the medic class first and the support class second. I enjoy playing the helpful sidekick characters and it sounds like the medic will be an enormous asset in-game.

See, I totally disagree. Why mess up the good formula of running around and shooting shit? Now you've got secondary characters that will change the dynamics. While I've obviously not played it yet, I just don't think I'll like it as well.

Good news is we'll never have to worry about only wedgin 8 guys into a room.

You guys should check out the article on Gears of War in this month's EGM. If this game is half as good as the preview suggests, I will be playing it for years, and I will do a lot more online playing with it.

I don't get it either. Every new FPS has to try and revolutionize something and 9 times out of 10 they fail. Stick to the tried and true. Make a solid game with good maps & decent balanced weapons and the rest falls into place.

Eh, i look forward to some innovation if it makes the game more interesting. Plus have classes isn't exactly new in the PC FPS world, i'm stoked to start seeing it in the console world.

Now if we could get a decent new Tribes game with some jetpack action i'd be happy.

Those classes remind me or the "engineer class" in Star Wars: Battlefront I & II. He can heal, give ammo, set an explosive then detonate it by remote, and repair things. I haven't read the article yet but the new stuff sounds like fun.

Because if you don't the Nintendo fans who often suffer from ADD will bitch and moan that there's nothing new in gaming.

Wow, what a deal. If anyone is waiting for a better deal they probably won't find it for some time.

On a side note, is it just more or does gameznflix seem like a crock of shit sometimes? I mailed Madden back on Monday last week, they finally checked it in on Saturday and still haven't shipped my next game. I don't recall gamefly being this slow. Before I got madden, they mailed me king kong and it was broken, so while at the post office I mailed it back, then 5 days later they checked it in and mailed madden. This is pretty slow wouldn't you say? Especially since it takes 1-2 days to receive a game from them. I am in AZ and they are coming from Cali. I usually receive the games the next day.

No chance that deal is going through. Good luck to those who try it.

Yeah. They aren't going to give away $200 of merchandise for free.

I personally think that Call of Duty 3 is going to be a big step backwards for the series. I'm really worried about it. There's no need for vehicles in the multiplayer! NO NEED!

I'm also slightly hesitant about vehicles in the game. If there are adequate counters to vehicles and they take a bit of cooperation to use effectively then i can live with them. However a vehicle should be very scared of running into at least one of the character classes (one should have mines, or rockets, or some other way to totally destroy vehicles). With 24 people in a game the maps will presumably be a good size and vehicles might be nice to traverse from one side to the other in time to get into the action. I just hope they don't allow situations like in Halo when one team has both Banshees and the rockets and gets a huge advantage on the other team.

Has everyone here deleted all the stuff that came with the 360 Hard drive yet? I kept some of the videos but I'm also about to delete the crappy music.

I don't doubt it, especially after it hit fatwallet. I couldn't convince myself to order anyway as I already had one with 2 of the games.

Yeah I know what you mean. I'm a bit of packrat when it comes to stuff like this too.
