I should clarify that there is only 1 360 demo. There are a few XBOX demos which they call Best Of XBOX - Volume 1:
Splinter Cell - CT
HL:2
Mercenaries
Lego Star Wars
DOA Ultimate

I downloaded the Cloning Clyde demo last night and was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed it. Based on the press release, I wasn't expecting much out of it, but the writing within the game is actually quite witty and clever, and the mechanics are simple but fun. It's definitely a throwback to SNES/Genesis era 2D puzzle/action games. It's probably closest to The Lost Vikings (which I think the game's creator referenced in an interview as an influence on Clyde), but there are elements from other games as well as some unique ideas that make it more than just a clone of an existing game (ha ha ha, I'm so clever). I bought the full version right after the tutorial level ended and I personally think it's worth 800 points, especially to support an indie developer that's putting some effort into making original characters and games. It's not for everyone, but I think if you download the demo and play just a level or two, you'll be pretty sure whether or not it's up your alley. I'm having a great time playing a few levels here and there between sessions of FNR 3 and Table Tennis - it's one of my favorite XBLA games so far.

I agree. I had a lot of fun playing Cloning Clyde. I just wish it wasn't 800 points. 400, sure. I'd buy it in an instant.. But 800 is harder to swallow for an arcade game.

MY wife really enjoy Cloning Clyde...she had fun with it yesterday. I did not play, but it looked fun. I know the price translates to $10, but my last couple of MS point cards I got for $15 and $12 respectively. PLUS, I had 7100 points in my account
So, I didn't feel bad. I only bought a few things on the Marketplace.

Yeah, I'm polishing up my review right now. I do enjoy it and applaud the developers for something new. 800 points might be a little steep, but this is just a taste of things to come methinks.

So, apparently I signed up for and won a prize in the Xbox cup contest for the World Cup. My wife goes to the door and gets a package which contained a replica WC soccer ball (in Xbox green) and 3 free months of Live gold. Not too bad, especially for a contest I didn't realized that I entered (also, add in the fact that I won my 360 through the Mountain Dew contest, I'm doing pretty well).

My wife has played some Uno, and I am sure she will be into Galaga next week, otherwise she isn't really into gaming.
I don't think I would ever see her get involved with something as in depth as Oblivion, but I am trying to get her playing 360, especially when I am at work and she has the day off.

Well, maybe they'll bundle Texas Hold 'Em with the XBL camera afterall. Or maybe a choice between Uno or Hold 'Em.
As far as PDZ goes, I really enjoyed it when I first got it, but then again it was the only 360 game I had. However, I went back and played it again for a bit after having COD2 and GRAW, and I realized PDZ is nowhere as good as those two.
