Saw an update on Major Nelson's site regarding Messenger Live now having your Xbox Live friends list on the Xbox tab again. THis will be a nice alternative to either going to xbox.com or turning on the xbox to see who is on and what they are playing.

I just have to say, watching the demo videos of Gears of War makes me want to go order an Xbox 360 right now.

Don't forget, Cloning Clyde comes out tomorrow. Sadly, we won't be able to get a review up until the game is already up on the marketplace (approx 1am Pacific) and we get a chance to play it.

I don't find this that great.. I mean when you choose it you have to scroll half way down to see your friends.. You can't send messages from there (that I could see) so I think it kinda stinks.. Also forces you to use Messenger (I use trillian).

Cloning Clyde is ok. Nowhere near anything id purchase. All this is just killing time till SF2 is released. BRING ON THE GOOD STUFF.

I'm still undecided on this game. I'm not sure if it's wacky enough for me. I'll have to download the demo tonight and see.

I like Cloning Clyde up to level 5 already at least its something different.

That's my thought. It's nice to see something original on the arcade, and this is just the start of it... Hoopworld, Small Arms, etc.

"Forcing you"? I think that's a little strong. You don't have to use it and you can always just go to xbox.com, log in, and see the same thing. As far as sending messages to your friends, when you click on the names in IM it takes you to the friend's Gamer Card page and you can send messages from there.

I played the demo of Cloning Clyde last night and thought it was fun. I don't know if I want to spend 800 points on it though. Has anybody tried the co-op mode yet? If I do wind up buying the game, it'll be because of a fun co-op experience. Also, when it says 4 person online multiplayer, is that 4 player co-op as well, or only 4 players in vs. mode?

I'm be getting the full version going tonight. I'll see what I can find. Sorry for the delay though....real life gets in the way all the time

It sounds pretty cool. Should be one that's easy to get all achievements in, if you care for that sort of thing.

Geez I didn't mean for you to take it that way.. How's this... If you would like to be able to see your xbox friends list whilst in an IM program, you only have one option, Messenger. How's that?

Yes, I know you can click on it, which then opens a webpage with their gamercard but at that point you might as well just go to the webpage.

I'm just saying this can be awesome and cool enough to get me to actually use Messenger (if they ditch having to scroll down half the site to see your friends, and give you the ability to send msgs FROM the program.)

The Saints Row demo on the XBOX Magazine is pretty fun for a game that is mainly a customizable GTA game. I really hate games where the main character never speaks. GTA was always fun but it always bothered me when someone would speak to the main character and he would just shrug back. The pedestrian chatter in Saints Row kinda got old already. You can be nowhere near hitting a person and they get all shitty and yell something at you. I could see myself getting it to hold me over until the next GTA game.

I'm just jealous you have received your issue already. Mine is a no show so far.

But spill the beans, what other demos are on it? The unlockable content, any gamer pics or the like?

No other demos. Isn't that just crazy?

There are unlockable gamer pics and some galleries. The one demo they have is good but it is the only good thing on the disc.

Any good videos at least?

I really like it when they have gamer pics on the discs or that unlock as you play games. It is a cool little incentive and makes for some more variety with the gamer cards. I do wish it was easier to see where a certain pic came from though after it was on your syste. Is there any place that has a gallery of all the gamerpics and themes? A few times i've considered buying a theme but without seeing what it looks like it doesn't entice me to bite.
