Because they are scared shitless of the zombies? Just wait until you have to hold hands or carry the survivors, that's a PIA.

When you come into the mall from the warehouse, it's on the awning that's above your head. To get there, make a right turn and head to the stairway. Go a bit up the stairs and then you can jump to the blue awning. Keep following it around and it'll be all the way at the end. I think someone mentioned that there's one in a pool somewhere, too. Maybe the one in the entrance plaza?

Al Fresca Plaza I believe has a sub-machine gun in the fountain.

I don't know of any cheat codes for Dead Rising. And the controls are not that hard to get used to, so you should be fine.

Another one can also be found in the same room as the maintenance key.

Well that sucks, but I got the X-Box 360 early(yes THAT early) as FYE had a $50 rebate if you bought it between 8/18/06-8/30/06

And I got $6 off Dead Rising, with my Replay converted over to Bastage Pass Card. And had shit loads of gift cards from making trade ins and getting 25% more on the trade-ins.

I played it,and I LOVE IT.

I don't care if the goose that laid the golden egg is in that room... I'm not going back THERE!!!!!
Maybe its just me, but this game is really creeping me out... getting me nervous. But in spite of that feeling, I'm really enjoying it.

Wow. That was a pleasant surprise.

Spoiler:
After finishing the 72 hours, thinking the game is over, there's the Overtime mode. 24 more hours of action. Sweet!

And after that you get infiniti mode which is fun up to a point. However if you plan on going for the 5 or 7 day achievements, you will lose your mind.

Tried a serious infinity mode session for the second time tonight. I got about one game day in and I got a dirty disc error. So two attempts, two different errors. I'm not sure if I even want to try this again unless they put out a patch. This game is so unpredictable with its game-crashing errors, and without a save feature and with the long dedication of time those achievements take I'm just not sure it's worth it. Which sucks because I KNOW I could do it, if it wasn't for stupid technical errors out of my control. At this point I'd be happy just getting 5-day to get
Spoiler:
the laser sword

So I beat the game, but I am having a bitch of a time getting the Hella Copter achievement.
Spoiler:
I am in overtime mode now, so I have some extra time to get it. I know people said to use a sniper rifle and aim at the pilot, or the machine gun to the rotor. I just can't seem to down it no matter what. Not to mention those missiles sure do mess me up. I guess I just need to keep trying.

I didn't aim at anything in particular. I just took a machine gun from the special ops guys, went outside, and shot at the helicoptor when it flew by. I just made sure the aiming cursor was over the helicoptor and held down the trigger. I'm pretty sure it only took less than a clip to do it, but it didn't happen on the first fly by.

Sounds like you just got lucky and hit the rotor. You can only down the plane by hitting its rotor or the pilot, and it only takes one shot. I'll try again later with the machine gun instead.

I used Untouchable juice to get close enough to beat thge crap out of him with a weapon. In fact, I found Untouchable often gave me the edge in closing the gap between an enemy to finish off with something like the mini chainsaws.

Just grab a hockey stick at the sports store he is standing next to. Then stand in front of the pillar and you can just wing pucks at him and he will go down after 10 or so.

Just finished up overtime mode. Kind of a lame ending. The regular mode's ending was better. Not sure if I'll play infinity mode, or just try it again, knowing what I know now. I can probably save about 25% more survivors.

So I caved in and tried Infinite Mode again today. I made a plan.. while I'm in 'wait mode' I was going to clean the apartment, clean the bathroom, do laundry, take out garbage, wash dishes, etc. That way if my game froze up again at least I could say I got something productive done out of the experience.

To avoid the Food Court glitch I simply stayed in Colby's theater from the 4 day, 10 hour mark on until I had cleared the 5 day achievement. I brought in 7 full health items, plus I hadn't touched any of the food in the area. In fact, I barely ate any mall food until day 4. Also, Heather happened to be in there when I entered so I got a baguette as a bonus.

I'm currently perched up on the blue awnings in Paradise Plaza. It's day 6, hour 7, 48 minutes. I've got 4 well done steaks, an orange juice, and a quickstep, plus all three health books. I think this will likely be my final resting place. Once I'm over the 7 day mark I'm not going to risk getting the disk error by changing locales.

I did have a scary moment when I entered Paradise Plaza. Adam was in the zone and actually nailed me with his chainsaws while I was trying to fight off zombies. But I just fled to the awning and the zombies eventually killed him. Now they are down there snacking on some clown meat.

Well, I finally finished my survival run at 11d 23h 27m, which currently places me at number 10 in the world ranking. Since I have only had time to play 1-2 hours a day until this weekend, my 360 has literally been on for 7 days straight (paused most of the time). I have never had a problem with my 360. Even after this, it is only barely warm.

Wow. 7 days straight. I'm glad your system is fine. I'd be too scared to try that.
