With anything that requires a skill be at a certain level, I;ve found that the skill has to be that level, actually. Meaning that if a spell or something requires level 50 in say Illusion, and you are level 50 Illusion because of an enchanted item, that spell or item won't work. You have to be an actual level 50.
I hope that made sense.

Very glad to hear that clearing the cache doesn't affect the loot of your home though. Thanks!

I should try it with the Blade skill and see what effect it has. I have 2 rings that up my Blade skill by a combined 20 points and it gives me a 4pt increase in sword damage....

In case people were thinking about buying the Orrery thing on Live, you may want to read some reviews. Almost everyone on other gaming forums has said that it's really lame.
Basically it just gives you a quest that you can complete in 15min or so, and then after you complete the quest you get some lame spell that you can use once a day or something.

It's not too bad. I bought it and am on the last bit of the quest right now. It scatter about 5 campsites throughout the wilderness if you need waypoints and places to sleep later. Not too bad really for the investment of something like a dollar.

Yeah, I was kinda wondering about this too. I have a TON of stuff stored in that "hollowed out tree stump" in the market district and I was kinda scared to do that pressing the A button cache trick cause I didnt want to lose all my goodies
Thanks Mok

Thanks MokWarning! Don't leave things in containers you don't own! They may not be there when you come back for them!
That's why I specified containers in your own house. I wouldn't use it for long term storage if I were you. I've left stuff in containers I didn't own, but never for more than a couple game days, and it was in a fairly inaccessible place.

FYI... The Aeylid Ruin Sardavar Leed (it's just west of the Culote Aeylid Ruin, and both are South of the Arcane Univ. on the other side of the river)... there is NO statue in this ruin. The game manual is wrong. Found this on another site when I was having trouble finding it after clearing the whole place out.
There's a top floor in the first level that you apparently can't get to either. And I can see two Varla Stones (second level in a trapped area) but I can't figure out how to reach them. I cast a telekineses spell and the pointer turns into a hand, but the text of the item is red. I'm going to try learning a better TK spell (mine's only 10ft) and see if that makes a difference. Or maybe I the trap needs to be activated? There are weylkind stones (about 10-15) but with all the daedra and conjurers, I'm not sure they're worth the time and effort.

Is anyone an expert in Armorer yet? At that level, you're supposed to be able to not only repair, but also IMPROVE the damage (weapons) or a/c (armor) of the items you repair. How do you do this? Do you just repair the item like normal and it automatically gets repaired?
I created a spell to bump my Armorer skill over 100 but I can't figure out how to do the super repair stuff.
Thanks.

That and my TK spell was how I picked up the 2 Varla stones.I rushed through Vilvaren last night and made 2 discoveries: 1. Varla stones don't regenerate (Vilvaren was the very first thing I did after gettting out of the sewers) and I don't believe weylkind stones do either, or if they do, not all of them regenerate. I only found 2 or 3 when I went down this time, and no Varla stones. 2. Any chest that has a lock on it not only regenerates its lock, but the equipment inside levels up along with you. That was nice. I don't think the level bosses regenerate either.

I'm planning on going to Fighting Chance in the Imp. City to pay for training too. I'm waiting on a level up anyway so that should get me a quick 10 points.

Does anyone own the haunted house in Anvil, the one that sells for 5K? I've heard people say that they've lost stuff when they stored it in that house. Has anyone experienced this?. Currently I'm keeping my stuff in Glathirs (sp?) house in Skingrad but because I don't own the house I'm concerned that one day my stuff will vanish. (even though it has a lock and i have a key)
Does anyone else keep their stuff in Glathir's house?

Although i sort of wished Halo had kept track of how much time you spent in either a pregame lobby or trying to find a match. For me it was probably more time there than actually playing.

Only clocking in at about 20 hours so far, but my wife is visiting her parents for 3 months starting next Sunday, so give me a bit of time
I'm getting pretty sick of the clean disc error on the 360. It happens even when I've cleaned the cache or whatever holding down A does. It's happening almost every time I play.

114 hours and you want to know the crazy part. I am at level 23 and I only have a handful of quests done. I completed that oblivion gate in kavatch and I did a few other quests maybe 5 or 6 total and I think only 1 of them had to do with the main story line.
Call me crazy, but I had this game from the first day it was released and I am just having a ton of fun going out and getting into fights, looting the bad guys I kill, selling thier stuff and starting the whole process over again. btw, I also have about 75000 gold

I have a feeling I am really going to pay for what I am doing though. I was at about level 20 when I did that kavatch gate, and it was no walk in the park. Yet I have seen alot of posts here saying that they did it on level 1 and it was real easy. It was not even close to easy for me
