Ohh.. Nice.. I love being able to enchant items. No more torches for me. Or spells for this effect.
I enchanted a ring with permanent Night vision. Now, I can see everything in the dark. Pretty blue world.

Zwerchfell, if it's the left shoulder/bumper button, then it allows you to pick up and move items like boxes and dead bodies. The Bus just posted that several posts back.
I wish I'd remembered that yesteday when some ghosts I killed were blocking a doorway.
Those things were hard to kill too. It was on this multilevel boat and they would follow you from level to level by coming up through the freaking floors! The funny thing was they still openned doors to go through them. Finally found that they couldn't come through a particular door so I led them to it and kept hitting them with fire damage until they all died. Nice sword as a prize, but I need to figure out a cheaper way to recharge items or figure out how to make a lot more money. And I need more of those welkind stones (full magicka recharge). Really regret selling some of them now.

I just did the first set of Dark Brotherhood quests, nice loot as bonus gifts.
The first person to give you quests gives you a "gift" when you finish his set. I have to wait 3 days and then sleep, and I awake a different being.

I ended up reloading a saved game and deciding to come back later as I kept getting swarmed by his familiars.Blue light all the time...hmm. Not sure I'd like that. Still, very tempting.
I just joined the Mage Guild...you have to become a member before you have access to the item enchantment stuff right? But I've got about 3 or 4 other quests I wanted to go back and tie up first. So much to do, so little time!

Heh.. wow.. I'm a vampire now.. and man, you get some nice stat bonuses..
I may just keep this. though it does give you a couple quests to cure yourself and someone else. And, I'm sure I could become a vampire again if I wanted.

Vampirism(25)
Weakness to Fire(20)
Fortify Willpower(5)
Fortity Strength(5)
Fortify Speed(5)
Fortify Destruction(5) - Which actually makes my destruction skill 107 due to being maxed at 100 and having 2 point bonus from an item.
Fortify Acobatics(5)
Fortify Athletics(5)
Fortify Hand To Hand(5)
Foritfy Illusion(5)
Fortify Mystism(5)
Fortify Sneak(5)
Resist Disease(100)
Resist Normal Weapons(5)
Resist Paralysis(100)
I guess those are all point increases. It's nice to know that as a vampire, I'll never have to worry about disease or paralysis

I just have to watch for people slinging Fireballs at me since I'm 20% weaker to them.

I guess the most advantage class to be a vampire would be a mage. Though thieves do gane some bonus that is helpful.
Oh, and Miyu, when I was using the Skeleton key, I still got Security points and raised my level. I don't know if its slower or not, but you still do raise level.

OMG.. Miyu,
You need to get further into the Dark Brotherhood quests. There is one I just finished that is called Whodunnit. It was the most fun I had in a quest. And, if you do things right, you can have the guests help your task, unwittingly.
And the bonus you get, if you complete it properly is nice.

I've been playing this game nonstop lately. I joined the theives guild, became grand champion of the arena, and joined the fighter's guild in the last few hours. I'll have to join the mage's guild soon, and I really need to get to journeymen in armorer fast, as I'm now wearing Rainment of Valor and it's enchanted, so I can't fix it until I become a journeyman.

When you feed, the stats go back to what they were above.
And feeding is as simple as going up to someone who is sleeping. The display changes to Feed/Talk when you place the cursor over them. If you press A, it gives you the two choices, Feed and Talk. If you pick Feed, you feed on them, they don't wake up or know anything happened. The only problem with that is you have to make sure no one sees you. Otherwise, a guard arrives and you are arrested. It is a 40 gold piece bounty for feeding. I guess they term it an assault on someone.
It is kind of cool, but a little misleading to constatntly see the Vampire attributes and skill messages. But I learned to ignore that.
I'm in the midst of the quest to get a cure. Definetly for the one person looking for it. But I'm not sure if I want to take it myself. I do like the stat boosts and some of the effects. I just hate worrying that if I wait too many times and it gets to be a day or two since I fed, I start to take sun damage and can't talk to people as easily because I appear more monster-like.
Maybe I'll keep the cure safe, and the moment it interferrs with a quest, take the cure.

That or they are hooking up with werewolves trying to create some weird black super werewolf/vampire thing to try to end our perfectly good war. No commitment to a cause i tell you what.

You sound like an old elder prattling on about tradition this and the convenent of the vampire that...
I'm all for the gift, but I won't have it stopping me in my quest to take over the world.. I mean to close the Oblivion gates and save Cyrodill..

Besides, fear me.. For I am a Silencer, one of the Black Hands enforcers.. I have ways of "removing people from existance" Muwahahahaha.

See this new generation of vampires with their cockney accents and spikey white hair running around in leather jackets making robot girlfriends or people think a thing of takeout rice are maggots. Just wait till some demon comes along and makes them sing how they really feel about their nemesis!
On a sidenote though, i'm so stoked to start the Brotherhood Quests - hopefully late tonight or tomorrow. I want to be a master thief/assassin/vampire - how badass that sounds.

Out of the three guilds I've done (DB, Mage's, Thief), the DB was the most fun. There was one mission which was annoying because it took a long time to complete without getting caught, but it was still great.

If anyone wanders into the Belletor's Folly cave just west of Kvatch, please let me know you got up to the top area on the bottom level. I have no clue how to get up there without levitate and they took that out.
