Ah, gotcha. It's not a true "upstairs" Looks so naked though. I wanted to spice it up a bit. Oh well.

Any point to getting the "Master Sword" that's on special today at Nook's? Is it only decoration?

If there are others like me, we can speed up the collecting process by helping each other out.

I was thinking we could meet online in somebody's town once a day to temporarily swap items. Each of us would drop all of the new items of the day onto the ground, then we'd take turns going around and picking the items up then dropping them again. Even though the items will be in your inventory for a minute, they'll still be added to your catalog. When it's over, everybody picks up what they brought and goes about their business.

Let me know if you're interested so we can schedule a meeting.
I am definitely interested in this idea as well. Just let me know what are good times and I will be there.

I'm free all night, but I'll toss out a time. Let's shoot for 8:00 central time in Spiketon (where Scott lives). We can meet on the paved area in front of the Town Hall. Bring all your non-apple native fruit to unload at Nook's for additional cash.

I tried to connect when you were on, and kept getting an error. I can play Mario Kart from this router just fine, but I'm still thinking it's a router issue. hmmm....

Hmm, I hope it's not a problem on my end. I was getting three bars the whole time I had the DS on, and I was on for a few hours. Hmm..

I saw you available, but I just couldn't connect. The error code it got was for a UDP error. That points to the router on my end. I upgraded the firmware on it, but still no go. I am not having a problem in Mario Kart, so I sure just a small tweak should fix it.

Anyways, I'll mess with it later.

Has anyone been having trouble connecting to the WFC? I've been trying over and over without any success. Once I managed to connect, saw Spiketon was open, and when I tried to visit it, it said it had a problem and I couldn't go out. Gah.

I've got a visitor right now, so I don't know what the problem is.

My town is open as of 7:46 MST. Help yourselves to peaches, buy what you want from the store, etc. Be warned: my house sucks - first upgrade doesn't happen until tomorrow.

Erotic is now closed.

Thanks for stopping by, all. Looking forward to seeing your towns.

Everyone remember to check out Spiketon's flag when you get a chance.

Finally paid off the 125,000 and will now await my next upgrade. I'm loving the game so far and finally caught a Tuna today and found a dung beetle. I also had the mom looking for her lost daughter today and they were in my wife's village. I really need the strategy guide as there is a lot to keep track of.

Last night I was able to connect with someone online (thanks Princess T) and left some cherries and got some pears. I haven't seen any of the other characters around yet (Redd, the walrus, lyle,) but hopefully they will appear soon.
I'm pretty bummed abou the lack of holiday events (no christmas, thanksgiving or halloween) was there a reason these were taken out? I enjoyed trying to collect the furniture and other items in the GC version
Uh... who said that they took those out? Although I don't think it's actually called Christmas in the game, Jingle is still coming this month. And you can most likely already make snowmen to get the snowman furniture.

The snow does make those cracks in the ground easier to see... I can now collect fossils every day. Also, I thought those gyroids were supposed to be hard to find now... I got three and my wife got three just the other day.

Finally got a golden shovel... now how do you get the golden axe again? And fishing tourney is this Sunday!

The golden axe is a lot trickier to get. I don't know all the steps, but it's starts with a red turnip and goes through a series of Legend of Zelda type trades with the special characters that show up occasionally.

It's been almost a week and I still haven't been able to buy a net. If anybody already has a net and it shows up in your store a second time, please let me know!
