Tappy: I came to your town last night to let you catalog the blue table but you were snoozing. :-) I even thwacked you on the head several times with my net to wake you up but to no avail. I still have it if you want it.

Also, does anyone know how to mail letters to other towns? Do I have to be in that person's town and mail it at their post office? When I try to write a letter in my own town, none of my friends show up as possible recipients for me to pick from. Thanks!

I've added all of the recent posters. Please add me to your lists.
I might have to take you up on your offer. Nook is only selling for 107 today.

Thanks for all the shovel offers. Didn't get a chance to reply yesterday due to an unexpectedly long work day. I'll gladly take any of you up on the offer. Just post when your ready.

I had my gate open at work all day today but around 5:00 my battery crapped out. So sorry to everyone that wanted to sell turnips. I feel really bad about posting a price and then not being able to have an open gate. Unfortunatley I don't have a wireless modem that's compatible with the DS at home. Once again, sorry and I hope someone else has a high price for y'all tonight/tomorrow.

lol, thats ok, I was away all day yesterday because of St. Pat's day anyway, my nook's was closed long before time I got home. However I'm going to have to take a page from Baron and say NEED TO SELL TURNIPS. Anything over 100 would be good so I can break even at least.
When the comment box says "there's not enough trees" does that mean just any kind of tree or the cedar trees?

whoops, I guess my town was open all night. I was so tired last night I just went to bed without turning it off. I noticed it was still open today, still open right now in fact if ayone wants to visit.
Just checked Nook's and Turnips are 123 bells, so I can break even in my own town, however it would be nice to make a profit if someone has better since I have a billion of them

Remember if you put turnips on tables, they won't spoil. I have my whole back room filled with nothing but tables so I can have my turnips sitting forever until I find a good selling price.

I've read on a number of sites that say if you do the money rock right, you can make over 20,000 bells.
I've never been able to get past about 13,500.
I get 2 bags of 2,000, 1 bag of 1,000, 8 bags of 800, 4 of 400, 2 of 200, and 1 of 100.

What I do is this.
H
H Y R
H
H = hole
R = rock
Y = you.
You stand in front of a rock, dig a hole directly behind you, above and below where you are standing. Then hit the rock to see if its a money rock. Fill in the holes, and move on to the next rock. Repeat the process until you find the money rock.
Once you have the money rock, just keep pressing the button repeatedly and fast to get all the money out. The holes you dug will stop you from bouncing back and having to move to the rock again. The reason for the holes is that you only have 7 seconds from the first hit before the rock stops giving money bags.
The first time, i didn't know about it and only managed to get a bag of 100 bells and one 200 bell bag.
