The only time I went out today was to sell my turnips in Boomtown.

I'm not really pointing the finger at you, just never interacted with you. BTW your picture turned out pretty good. I was like what the heck is that?!

I don't really know if it was taken today or not. Just noticed it today since I was going to check if Boomtown was available or not.

I guess now I'll probably be more than a little concerned about digging stuff up in another town. If I found a fossil I'd gladly give it to the town owner instead of dragging it all the way back to my town. If it was an item I'd share it like I did with my items when I visited your town and I'd leave it behind as well.

If I feel digging is frowned upon it probably won't be too long until I'm afraid to shake a tree, catch a bug, reel in a fish, buy some furniture or pick up a new outfit.

Personally I've only been in contact with turnips 3 times. Once I bought some and like a moron let them rot. The other time warswift gave me 10. The other time I mentioned before but I did the honest thing and put em back.

As long as nobody finds a hack to burn down my house or come into my town and touch me while I'm sleeping.....I have no problems with people having fun in Yukon. After all.....it's just a game.

I kinda feel the same way. I mean for someone to take 50 turnips, when even at the price I was selling them at yesterday is only 9000 bells. I probably make 100k per day fishing or so, It just boggles my mind why people would do this.

Like I said, I would gladly give you 50 turnips on Sunday to keep us visiting each others town. I am going to fill my extra room that I got full of turnips this weekend. Let me know if you want them.

You weren't a complete moron letting your turnips rot, unless you didnt get the ant that grows on rotten turnips to donate to museum

As far as the turnips go, It is sad that it happens. I would like to collect all of the gyroids, but I am afraid to place them outside of my house, because people can just walk up and take them. Any digging for fossils, shaking of trees is done before I open my gates.

Thanks to everyone who has ordered anything for me. I will update my catalog this weekend.

tanman: That really sucks! I haven't opened my town because I was afraid someone would steal or accidentally trample my red turnip. I can't imagine losing a whole crop. I haven't played the stalk market yet. I'm trying too hard to extend my house. :-)

My catalog is up: username is HotThang. I'm trying to collect the Classic Line.

I've only been able to go to gimme's town (his is the only one that ever shows up!) :-) I have added all of the new folks as well about half of the big list.

Here's my info again:

Animal Crossing friend code is: 4939-8381-4644
My name: Sam
Town name: Samville
Native fruit: Pears (but I have apples, cherries, and oranges too)

Speaking of turnips...how do I pull up the red turnip? I tried my hands and nothing happened. I tried the shovel and it dug it up but it just vanished. What am I doing wrong?

I must state that I FINALLY caught a bee!!! Some tricks that I used...

as soon as I saw the bee, I switched to Y as quickly as possible, without moving. The next thing that I did of course was to equip the net. After doing so, I moved the finger pointer to the UP arrow at the top right of the screen to exit the menu, rather than hitting the Y button so that I could continually hit the A button as fast as I could. I also made sure that this whole process took less than 10 seconds to complete. Before I was waiting a very long time, trying to wait for a pattern.

WOOHOO.

Edit, make that now two bees in a row, after not catching a bee in about 35 attempts. I ended up catching 2 bees out of 4 attempts. Considering that they sell for 4500 a piece, I hope that I can catch 2 of 4 everyday.

I will open my gates again in an hour and a half or so.
When you come visit my town, could you please either bring fruit with you, or the furnature that you bought that day from your town, so that we can trade it. Everything that I purchase from my store, goes into storage for the day so anyone who visits my town can hold it to add it to their catalog. Also, I have begun stacking oranges near my town gates for people to take home with them. I hope that people will bring fruit from my town, when they take some oranges, or I will just sell/cut my orange trees down all together.

Oh, and I am looking for any piece of grey furnature, or a slingshot, I sold mine on accident.

Speaking of losing the red turnip... I had mine planted right next to my house. I got a new room added on to the right side of my house, and Nook built it right on top of the red turnip!

It seems that I have no lucking getting pears to grow. I've only planted 2 so far but nothing has come up.....yet everything else seemed to grow fine.

I'm trying to section off my fruit a bit but my native cherry trees are all over the damn place. I've broken an axe a day all week trying to fix this problem. I want to have a grove area for each type of fruit but until the trees I planted this week grow.....I won't be able to remember where I planted everything.

I had a good afternoon of shooting down gifts so I added all the new stuff to my catalog.

gimme-

I now understand what you were saying about shaking the trees. That's good advice. Thanks!

I use the cute down a non-fruit bering tree and plant a new tree in its place method. Works EVERY time. I figured it was better to get 1500 bells from a tree over the occasional 100 bells or piece of furniture. Just my 2 cents. :-)
