Just pears. I received one tonight and planted it in a spot I'll remember to water.

You know I thought that but then when my guest told me they watered all my saplings I figured maybe something changed since the GC game. Thank god too.....because aiming that can is harder than aiming the slingshot.

That is not necessarily true. The only time that I could not get my fruit trees to bloom is when I did not water them. I have probably planted 30-35 trees and the only 3 (out of 5) that did not grow was because I forgot to water them. So it appears that it will usually bloom on its own, but watering them is 100% blooming for me.

If anyone needs apples, I can open my village this evening. Just let me know.

I'm going to be out for a bit doing some errands but my town will remain open in the meantime tonight. Feel free to write me a letter or fish. Redd is here(password is "on my side") and there are still some fruits, though I sold most of them to finally pay off the 4th loan today

Hmmm, I may have to try that. There are some areas where they just won't "take" and I thought it was due to shadow, etc. In the Gamecube version there were places that were inhospitable for trees, so I had carried that logic over and explained away the tree failures that way. I will plant again and try watering. Thanks!

I finally got the whole snowman set

well, if anyone here has decent turnip prices, let me know. The best price that I have had on turnips has been 75. With nearly $400,000 in turnips, finding a good price is important.

Turnips prices are low here to. 76 bells. Finally got my second golden tool today. I shot down my 15th balloon so I am now the proud owner of the golden slingshot!

Mine are currently going for 137. It's nothing too spectacular, but there's room for a little profit.

I should get home from class by 7:30 pm eastern if you want to let me in to sell my turnips.
