okay. I just logged into Xbox.com with MY email address/password and it brings up somebody called Tenacious Dave.
He seems to be playing PDZ right now!
Logged in and out a few times and now it is pulling up my info. Maybe I was hitting a generic "this is what it looks like" screen.

Wow, this is one pretty game. Feeling a little lost on the controls currently, but I'm slowly picking up what to do. Gonna try out live here in just a few minutes.

It seems like the online multiplayer is a bit disappointing. It also seems like they took away a lot of the more interesting multiplayer modes from the last game. Playing who has the briefcase would have been quite fun on live.
Overall sounds good though.

Ok, I just finished the first few levels. So far this game rocks!
Apparently when I was plugging in my video cable, I must have hit the HDTV/TV switch because I wasn't in HD for the first 2 levels. I didn't notice! That's how nice this game looks. I started playing in the dashboard and saw 480 was selected and it said HDTV not enabled, hit the switch and the game went to another level of detail.
WOW!
I'm going to play some more in a bit, trying out Kameo right now (which is pretty cool so far).

Hey TenaciousDave or Chicken Fud have you guys tried to get online yet? Can you even? I was wondering if you guys may be able to give a quick impression of the online aspect of the game.

Well, I tried playing online but couldn't find any games yet.
So I played a deathmatch game vs bots.
It was fun, although the bots were dumb as rocks. I'm not sure what difficulty they weree set on though, I didn't change any options though.
Alright, back to more single player.

Can't play Halo online right now. For some reason the game doesn't recognize your XBL account when running through the 360. Went poking around a couple of boards and the general feeling is Bungie/MS will release a "patch" on launch day or shortly thereafter.
As for the 10 kill award; played a deathmatch (or whatever it's called in PDZ) with three guys and a bunch of bots, ended up winning with 15 kills. Want to try out Live when there are more people online, playing against bots can be a little "meh".

That is what I thought at first, but I logged out and logged back in a couple of times and it was still bringing up your info. It seems to be working fine now though. Oh well.

quick little review...we popped the game in at work tonight and all thought it sucked
The game is SLOOOOOOOW, blurs when you move the joystick (purposely, not lcd lag or anything) and overall feels rushed and not fun. We played deathmatch for about 30mins and promptly put COD2 back in the system. The aiming in PDZ is really poor and it literally takes numerous shots to kill someone, reloading 2 or 3 times to do so. I hope that the single player campaign is much better, or maybe Live will provide more fun. Overall, not the 'halo' we are all hoping for, thus bringing the must-have launch titles to 0.
