My buddy and I finally got to play BF:MC together and were having a good time. He and I were having a good time in some pretty crazy matches. In the heat of battle I managed to shoot this guy on my team once. A minute of so later this guy corners me and pumps me full of lead. I figure that maybe I deserve it. He singled me out a few times and took me down. Then he attacks my buddy for no reason. Since my friend were on a separate channel talking I switched to the game channel to talk it out with this guy and nobody was talking. We attempted to boot the guy from the game but the voting system didn't seem to work.
They work so hard to give people Rep and they have a great program to review players but it seems that game designers are a small step behind with the ability to properly boot players. I wonder how many people have to vote some jerk-off from a game for it to work.

Good lord. What the heck are they putting out on the PS2 and PSP?
Also, for those who have downloaded the new Outfit map pack...is it worth the money?
I really like the game, but I'm wondering how many are actually going to buy the new maps. If no one buys them, then they're basically worthless.
I'm also wondering about the exclusive map that came with the game if you bought it from Best Buy. Does anyone have the code to download it?

I thought I was done with boiling discs back in my Xbox days, but the 360 proves me wrong. Gamefly sent me a fairly scratched up Tomb Raider disc which my 360 refused to recognize as a 360 game.
Of course, 30 seconds in a boiling tub of H2O fixed that problem. Such an odd solution, but it always works.

It has never worked for me but people claim it helps the glue holding the disc together. I guess the two sides seperate and this is why reading errors happen.

Wow, so is Final Fantasy XI on the 360 really bombing or something? I mean, they're giving it out for free at BB with purchase of a few other Xbox360 games...
edit: sorry, it's in this week's Circuit City ad. Buy PGR3, Kameo, or Perfect Dark Zero and get FFXI free. Remember, you have to pay a monthly fee for this game, though.

That's a slightly different topic. Had this been an entirely new, traditional Final Fantasy Game and that bombed, I'd be really surprised, because it's still a huge seller (see FFXII when it comes out for PS2 later this year).
FFXI was a departure in the series, and is an MMORPG. It's also a few years old, having originally come out on the PS2 and the PC.

Cool site. It had some info on the Outfit maps, but I still don't understand what modes I can use them with over LIVE. If I select 'quick - ranked match' will I possible end up getting into a game with these new maps? Or do I need do specifically set the match up?

Well, seeing as how most people that go online already have XBL it's not really feasible to give up playing all the other games that DON'T charge just to play FF. So, yeah, it does count. The only people that will benefit from no XBL requirement are those that wish to play FF exclusively.

But they've been doing that for some time haven't they? Movie trailers and other stuff like that have been on there at least since I got my 360 back in April.

Wow, a cute Japanese game on 360.
I think Pixy just shot his load. Anyone seen Josh H?

Played a bit of ninety nine nights the other day. Looks pretty cool but probably only fans of dynasty warriors looking for a fantasy fix need apply. The graphics for the character models were decent but the plain backgrounds look pretty disappointing. You seem to be able to charge up a fury meter which allows you to zig zag all over the battle field. I managed to rack up 500 kills with one of those
.
The Edge review (of the japanese release) gave it a 6 and picked on mainly presentation aspects. Bad lip syncing in cut scenes and also how cut scenes could interrupt your special move! Core gameplay was fun.
