I picked one up today at Best Buy, along with a Daschund copy of Nintendogs, and I gave my silver DS and the Nintendogs to WhoGirl as an early Christmas present. So now we can play Metroid Pinball and Mario Kart together. I'm picking up Animal Crossing tomorrow. I'll get one for Who if she expresses an interest, but if she doesn't, I'll just use the wi-fi aspects of it over the internet. I also bought a wireless router for the house today specifically for Mario Kart and Animal Crossing.

With all the Mario Kart hype....is a DS playable with big hands?

I'm a big guys with big hands. The DS doesn't feel as good in my hands as the GBA. However, I only had it for 2 hours.


Does anyone use their DS with a actiontec qwest modem? Still at work and not sure of the model but it has built in wireless. At the moment I only use the wired option.

So I'm going to import a DS since I'm tired of waiting. What do you guys think, all white or all black?

I'd lean more toward white. A friend got a graphite from Lik Sang and it's nice but I'd want it more glossy. White just looks smooth.

Does anybody know if there a travel case for DS games, or something that holds them? The travel case I have for the DS itself only has room for 8 games, and now I have more than that. Thanks!

There are several DS travel cases. I know there's one that Nintendo makes that looks more like a handbag than anything, and it carries the DS, games, and extras. You should be able to find it at their online store.

I've got two different cases but both are made by A.L.S. Industries and are the "official" carrying cases. One case holds eight games with elastic and 4 GBA games. It's the smaller of the two. The other holds nine games the games are held by see-through plastic. The bigger case also two mesh pockets to hold GBA games or spare DS carts. It's also got another to pocket for the charger, extra stylus and in my case, Wario Ware Twisted.

I think he's asking about a case just for the games, and I haven't seen any. The games are so small anyway, the only ones I've seen are the ones that come on the DS cases, which you already have. I'm sure you can stuff more in the other pockets of the case.

I'd imagine the graphite one will make its way here at SOME point (it took a while for the black GBA and the black SP to make its way here) so if you get the white one it'll probably be unique.

Oh, and I think I found something on EB Games that's more like it. It's a DS Game Card Case and it holds 4 games and 1 stylus. It plastic, clear and pretty cheap at $3.99. I guess I'll just get a few of those.

Ok, here is a dumb question:

In all my time playing with my friends DS I never payed attention to the region settings. Are you able to switch languages of the text on the DS like you can with the Gamecube?

The reason I ask is, if I import a japanese DS will I be stuck with japanese text in the settings? I know a little japanese, but not much.
