I also heard on another board (Gamefaqs maybe?) that you can swim. But obviously it may not be true.

Even if you can swim, I am betting they'll screw it up. He'll swim so awful, you'll wish he would just drown to save you time.

I'm psyched about this game. Should be really great. The screen grabs look fantastic!

With all the graphics involved can you imagine the loading times it would take to run this game? And if this game has three cities involved one would wonder if there would be more than one disc involved with this game? Only time will tell if this game will live up to the hype and maybe they will have a better storyline and ending too bad Vice City did not have this.

I played it at e3 for awhile. The guy walks really fast, so walking around the docks makes you fall in the water alot. And when you go to swim, there's a delay before your character starts movin. Eh - it's allright, but that whole part was frustrating.

The screenshots look awesome and the description sounds great. 4-6x the size of Vice City! -eek-

That sucks, I hope they'll work on fixing that.

Three cities? This game sounds epic. I hope that the Vegas city is as fun as I'm imagining it to be.

The swimming thing was in a Game Informer interview with one of the guys from RockStar. There was like a 10 page article on the game.

3 cities pseudo L.A., San Fran, and Las Vegas. apparently with "countryside" in between the cities you have to drive through.

The article also claimed all new buying of propery, including buying a building a casino and then being able to gamble.

The food thing, although kinda cheesy actually affects your character. If you eat fast food Carl turns into a slow, fat tub of lard. You then have to get back in shape to increase your stamina.

Lastly, apparently the game will be able to sense where you are having difficulties in the game and ease up, allowing you to pass the mission and move on.

Sounds cool

too bad those screenshots are not in game, the real screenshots are posted on a certain website(if it is legal for me to put the link I will), and the graphics at this stage are about as good as vice city, the one shot of the Carl eating at a donut shop and getting huge looks cool though

I don't think the graphics hindered the gameplay of Vice City at all so if it simply looks as good then I will be happy. Any better is just a bonus.

If this game is as large as they say it is going to be then we'll be playing it till next year! Wonder who the celeb voices will be this time.... (besides 50 cent of course)

The eating aspect part of the game sounds lame, very lame & annoying. Everything else sounds amazing. Can't wait!

wow.. that was the anti-climax of th century. Those were magazine scans from the latest Game Informer. Hell, I even scanned one and posted it earlier in this very thread. Made it seem like it was some secret game footage that folks weren't suppose to see with all the legal talk.

All those shots were already seen. I posted one the night of and someone else already linked to a site that had them all. Also, the game's graphics don't look bad.
