Damn, you can literally do everything in this game. Jumping out of a plane is crazy.

I liked the car doing the insane jump and flying thru the billboard

this game is going to be HUGE

Much like HALO 2, this is a darn shame. So many people spent years laboring over the game only to have geeks download the game so they can show off to their imaginary friends. You are stealing from the people who worked hard to bring you these games.

ps. I ordered through the FYE deal so I got a copy for $34 which is worth it IMHO.

shaun3000 10-21-04 12:34 AM

I bet most fo these peopple preordered it, anyway, but are taking advantage of this to play it a week early. Unfortunatley my PS2 isn't "special" :(

Daryl 10-21-04 01:48 AM

The trailer is insane. Looks like I'll be too, um, *sick* to go to work on release day.

The early reports sound outrageous. I'm half-tempted to give it a whirl - the wait for my copy is becoming unbearable!

Oh and apparently these are the songs on the box set, so there are still more songs that will be in the game, but not on the soundtrack.

ElementZ 10-22-04 09:02 PM

Are the songs going to be edited as usual or are they going to appear True Crime style uncut.

nickdawgy 10-22-04 10:29 PM

I'd guess uncut.

PopcornTreeCt 10-22-04 10:57 PM

 to Rage Against the Machine

I hope there's still a classical music station.

shaun3000 10-22-04 11:42 PM

There wasn't in VC, was there? They had a Salsa/Tejano station, though.

Classical Music is what I listened to most in GTA 3. Really missed it in VC. Once you get tired of the modern stuff its nice to have classical to listen to. The talk station kind of made up for it though. I could listen to many of those bits over and over.

BizRodian 10-23-04 01:36 PM

Why would the music be edited? it's an M rated title...

Is this common in console titles? most games I play on PC never have licensced music, the only one I can think of is a NFS game, and the music there was edited, but it was a T rated game.

nodoubt 10-23-04 04:37 PM

songs are definitely uncut. tupac's song was playing on bounce fm and it was uncut.

The only reason I could think that they might do that, is to 'authenticate' how they would be played on the radio.

But, like nodoubt said, they are not censored.

IN gta 3, they had a handful of songs with cursing in them but they would mute out the curse words

MasterCXtreme 10-24-04 05:33 PM

I just got a call from Gamestop... their copies are in. I can pick up my pre-order after 7pm tomorrow! I can't believe this game is finally here.
