I always enjoy when a character tells a character holding a deadly weapon stuff like they are impulsive and don't think things through.. and then act shocked when they get killed by them.

I haven’t seen anyone say the third sister is good yet. She sticks out like a sore thumb. So bad.

Really like young Leia. The actress is very good. That could have been a very annoying character but instead she’s got the spirit of Leia down.

Couldn't there be a new Grand Inquisitor in the future that's the same species or whatever as the one in this series?

Grace Randolph thought she was great somehow! Was she supposed to be one of the Jedi kids in the flashback?

You'd think they would have learned by now that adding kids to Star Wars is not a good idea. I sure hope they're done with Leia. I don't need to see her again. I guess we now know that Leia actually named her son after the guy who rescued her when she was a kid.

This already seem worse than Book of Boba to me. We'll see how it goes.

At least they killed Kryten.

They should used Sarah Michelle Gellar as Seventh Sister -- who may or may not be Bariss Offee -- instead of creating a new Inquisitor.

I watched both episodes yesterday. I've avoided spoilers so I had no idea L'il Leia was in it.

I didn't read much of this thread and am going to stop until I enjoy the rest of the series. Then I can go back and find out how the whole thing sucked, was a waste of time, and ruined established canon.

First two episodes were fun visually. McGregor and Edgerton did a good job, but the rest of the cast left much to be desired in the acting department, especially for the Inquisitors. The scenes on the city planet looked like they were trying to do some sci-fi Batman movie with Reva.

Add me to the disappointed list. I had low expectations already, but this is not meeting them.
Third Sister is completely taking me out of the show. The actress is so awful.
The Leia kidnapping bit is stupid. I get the point of it, but it just seems like Grogu lite.

For me, it's the Third Sister's obsession with Obi-Wan that bugs me, not the actress. I hope they're going to explain why she's so obsessed with catching him that she feels it's okay to constantly disobey orders (not to mention kill her boss).

That would've been the best decision, but it's pretty obvious why they didn't go that route.

As much as I love Sung Kang, I don't much care for him as the Fifth Brother. The costume looks great, but they got lazy with the makeup/use of facial prosthetics .

I thought that was obvious from the beginning with the Order 66 opening.
Spoiler:

1. She's one of the kids that escaped.
2. Most likely saw Anakin killing Jedi.
3. Knows Obi-Wan trained Anakin.
4. Knows Obi-Wan survived Order 66.
5. Apparently knows Anakin is Vader.

Why she's insubordinate?

... Instant Obi-Wan Hatred that seems to be forced and I'm expected to care about it . One thing I love about Maul's hatred, is you were able to see how it progressed over time with the Clone Wars/Rebels.

I'm not sure why they didn't just cast a black actor, seemed obvious to me. The helmet is pretty silly, probably could've just kept it off.

Vader absolutely has to deliver (looks, voice, etc) - a misfire with him would derail this thing fast.

Honestly, either one of the Hodge brothers ( Aldis/ Edwin) would've killed it as the Fifth Brother.

Yeah... that's a missed opportunity right there... which pretty much confirms they weren't going after the best talent in terms of casting some of the roles.

Wow, everyone would be instantly sold! And she's already in the Disney family.

An Inquisitor comparison I thought of - The Strangers from Dark City.

The Third Sister knows Darth Vader is Anakin Skywalker. And she knows who Owen Lars is. Yet she's clueless that Owen's 10 year old nephew is walking around using the last name Skywalker. Um...okay.

Yeah, that's kind of a problem.

We always sort of looked the other way that a kid named Skywalker was living with Anakin's step-brother because we always just assumed that Vader (or his agents) wouldn't return to Tatooine. In hindsight, having the kid keep the name Skywalker instead of taking the Lars name wasn't a terribly bright idea. (Though, at the time ANH was made, Luke's father and Darth Vader were two distinct people.)

When did they say that she knew who Own Lars was? Or that he had a nephew named Skywalker?

Yeah, I don't recall her knowing who he was by name when she was questioning him. She just gathered he was a farmer and had a family.

I hate, hate the actress who plays Leia. She’s what, 5-6? No way is the actress 10. Precocious little kids, Disney still trying to family friendly-up something that doesn’t need to be. And the actress who plays 3rd Sister is terrible. It was adequate at best for me.

I did like seeing the down-on-his-luck clone tho.

I dig it, great seeing McGregor back in the role. But little Leia is a bit too sassy for me

Little Leia (sorry Grogu) is the Gary Coleman of Star Wars.

I was laughing when she was waddling away from her captors in the first episode. She must have been 6-7 when they shot that scene.
