But yea like few have said only thing buggy me is the trio. And 3rd sister is even worse than Sonequa Martin-Green. They just don't translate to live action at all least now how they've done it or who they hired.
Yea was cool to SEE Obi-Wan realize Anakin isn't dead...Lil Leia was fun. We'll see where it goes I do like the show the 3 sucking is just a nit pick.

Disney puts a warning at the beginning of episode 1. I guess some are upset by it.

The chase through the forest was ridiculous because the adults chasing Leia should have grabbed her a bunch of times. I don't have issues with any of the acting, but the whole kid-who's-wise-beyond-her-years thing is a tired cliche. Is she meant to be the Baby Yoda/cute sidekick of this series? Some of the shots of Alderaan skyscrapers and scenery were not convincing in terms of lighting. And now that Obi-Wan has saved her from kidnappers, wouldn't she mention it to him in ANH when R2 plays her recorded message? Something like: "General Kenobi, years ago when I was abducted you safely returned me to my father, and now he asks for your help again." I wonder when Ben will trade his cave for the house he had in ANH. Isn't dressing like your average Jedi and carrying a lightsaber on your belt a bit risky for someone trying not to be recognized as a Jedi? The hallway fight scene was also ridiculous because Ben defeated his opponents with his fists despite being outnumbered, out of shape and out of practice. The rest of it I liked, so I'd give the series a B grade so far.

Only watched the first episode so far. Will watch part 2 tomorrow. The recap of Episodes 1,2 and 3 was better than Episodes 1, 2 and 3!

Decent 2 episodes. Not as solid as Mandalorian, especially with the prequel level CGI. The directing doesn’t seem that good either, especially the Leia chase in the forest.
But little Leia is damn precious haha good casting.
The Alderran / Leia theme is really good.

How does Leia know who Obi-Wan is in the first place?
How does she know he is alive?
How does she know he's on Tatooine?
Now we know. At age 10 she was kidnapped. Obi-Wan rescued her. Years later she's delivering death star plans to rebel forces, about to be captured. She thinks of Obi-Wan who saved her before and sends R2 with the plans to him. That appears to be the purpose of this series, to create a history between the two that leads to "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hpoe."

I liked the first two episodes a lot, but am glad others noticed the horrible direction when Leia was kidnapped. All they had to do was make the forest denser and it could’ve made sense that Leia could temporarily foil the kidnappers. Instead, it was like ‘drat, that slow kid ran between two trees and instead of just easily going around them, I’m going to glare through them!’ and ‘argh! She slid under a downed tree that’s two and a half feet tall! I’ve got to find another path!’ Maybe they called in Robert Rodriguez to advise on that scene?

Plot hole dept.?
Leia was kidnapped to draw out Obi-Wan. Why did Inquisitors think Obi-Wan would try to rescue her? Do Inquisitors know who she is? How could they know who she is?. Even Vader didn't know he had a daughter until he read Luke's mind in ROTJ.

They explained why. It was because of Obi-wan’s history with Bail in the Clone Wars that he would come help his friend. It’s not because of who Leia really is.

only watched the first episode then watched my Celtics choke away game 6.
Is Leia (and Luke) really supposed to be 10 years old in this? she looks more like 6 or 7.

The actress playing Leia turns 10 next week (looks like we share a birthday). They started filming a year ago so she was 9 through most of it. She was also Sandra Bullock's daughter in Bird Box.

Holy crap is that female “sister” awful. And that horrible jumping from building to building. They are trying way to hard to make her a badass. It’s laughable how bad it is.
Everytime the “5th brother” was on screen, I just wanted to see him constantly eat something. While the sister is doing her awful acting, he’s back there snacking.

I'm liking it so far, not as good as The Mandalorian but I'll reserve judgement until it's finished. One thing I was thinking, Luke and Leia are 10 years old in this, and what, around 25 at the most in A New Hope? In those 15 odd years, Obi-Wan aged quite a bit from current Ewan McGregor to 1977 era Alec Guinness. Life on Tatooine is a hard life indeed!

Damn, so only nine years later.
Good point about the suns and damn, Guinness was 58 in ANH?? He was only three years older than I am now. I guess because I first watched the film when I was nine years old, he seemed ancient to me and that impression has stuck.

The real questions from ANH, whose answers have been a mystery for 45 years are
How does Leia know who Obi-Wan is in the first place?
How does she know he is alive?
How does she know he's on Tatooine?
Now we know. At age 10 she was kidnapped. Obi-Wan rescued her. Years later she's delivering death star plans to rebel forces, about to be captured. She thinks of Obi-Wan who saved her before and sends R2 with the plans to him. That appears to be the purpose of this series, to create a history between the two that leads to "Help me Obi-Wan Kenobi. You're my only hpoe."

Right here, Mon Mothma suggests Kenobi to help in the rebellion and Bail will send "her" to get him.

saw just watched part 2. better episode. was hoping Obi-Wan would light up the saber and deflect some of those shots from Velociraptor Man but I bet their saving that for his meeting with Vader.
The third sister is a terrible actress, and not intimidating in the least. Out of all of the badass actresses out there, how in the Hell did they end up with her.
The grand inquisitor is clearly not dead unless they want to make Rebels non-canon, but they seem to be going out of their way to incorporate those characters into live action so I doubt that's the play.
Little Leia is growing on me, but does come off as 6 or 7, not 10.
The Clone veteran was pretty cool... surprised he didn't recognize Kenobi tho. Any idea who that clone might be? anyone mentioned before?
