Yeah can't fault someone for not wanting to move across the world for a job.

How does this relate to the McBride news? She did 11 years of this show and worked mostly in Atlanta. You can't fault her for not wanting to move across the Atlantic for possibly 6 months per year.

If you're saying the Walking Dead IP has overstayed it's welcome and there's too many spinoffs, that's another issue.

Reedus probably has no issues at all since his girlfriend is German.

I am still shocked I never see a "zombie" movie/series where someone is immune.

28 Days/Weeks Later ?

I know it's argued that they're not zombie movies, so YMMV.

No, it’s a billion dollar franchise spanning across shows, movies, book, toys, comics, media, etc.

So no, it’s not over.

Toxic Walking Dead viewers have been trashing and blaming Norman Reedus for Melissa McBride dropping out of the spin-off

AMC released a statement

No one cares about this shitty show anymore to threaten someone. Why are none of these people bitching up a storm and threatening the show runners for the shitty show they put out for the last five years or so?

Europe? Is the Daryl character actually going to be in Europe? Or they taking it over there to cheap it up even more?

Calm down bro. Still mad about Glen?

This last season has been pretty decent.

Yeah, I have a hard time imaging that enough people give a shit about The Walking Dead and its spin-offs anymore to actually be "toxic." I think most of use are either yawning or just want it to be over.

So was it originally planned to be shot in Europe when she signed on? Seems strange unless they just changed it to there after she was already attached. So is Daryl just gonna ride his bike to Europe?

Keep in mind, when news like this comes out, the talent already knew about this weeks, if not months ago. This just didn't happen this week.

My guess is that McBride initially agreed to do the show, but once they decided to shoot it overseas, she backed out.

Angela Kang won't be the showrunner for the spinoff.

TVLine said this though: "Initial buzz suggested the decision to jettison Carol was a creative one, although an AMC rep maintains it was about logistics." So I wonder what the truth is here. Was it really her decision or AMC's?

When I initially heard the announced spinoff I thought maybe they were fibbing and were going to kill off both of them in the finale. Kind of odd she would agree to the show without knowledge of where it was going to be filmed though.

Maybe she agreed to it then they changed location. Wouldn't be the first time.

Pretty sure World Beyond established something in Europe, and we believe Rick is there (or will be. there depending on the timelines)? He is there along with Trash girl with bangs so daryl being picked up and flown out there may not be a surprise.

Or its just cheaper to shoot

The second episode was better than first. At least something actually seemed to happen. In general, I'm not really sure what's going on, who's fighting whom, etc. I still don't care about most of these new characters that they seem to concentrate on.
