I was hoping "SNL" booked Lily Allen soon as musical guest. She's riding a huge comeback at the moment with her latest critically acclaimed album. But so far, it's only charting high outside of the U.S. Hopefully this get her more attention on this side of the pond. It's truly a great album.

I thought the Wonderful Tonight sketch with Bowen and Lady Gaga was hilarious. I was shocked to hear that he's leaving mid season.

Reportedly, he wanted to depart during the off season, but Lorne convinced him to come back until Christmas, like he did with Cecily Strong.

I know Bowen has his haters but now one less familiar face on the show which is sad.

It seems 7 years is the point when most cast members leave.

I wish him well. He’s got a bright future. I just don’t find him that funny. He’s had some great sketches (like last week’s 12yo in college) but most fall flat for me.

I was also not a fan of Pete Davidson and people say I’m crazy for not liking Will Farrell (crazy, I know)… we each have our own opinions.

There are some actors/comedians that I can’t separate from themselves. When I see them in a movie on screen, I don’t see them as a character… I see them as that person as that character. I really liked Wicked and Wicked For Good, but when Bowen’s on screen, it reverts to a sketch for me.

It is what it is.

If you want to see Bowen in a different light check out the Wedding Banquet.

He is not over the top or obnoxious in that movie.

Leslie Jones, Pete Davidson and Bowen Yang are my 3 least favourite SNL cast members in as long as I can remember.

Will Ferrell is hands down my favourite cast member ever.

Comedy, like music and other art forms, is subjective and I never give anyone grief for what they like or don't like. To each their own.

I think Will Ferrell is the funniest SNL cast member ever, I laugh if he simply appears on screen in anything. I like Yang, was ok with Davidson in small doses.
