Well I did the math, season 1-9 are 22 episodes each totaling 198 episodes. The first post says 242 episodes were remastered so maybe that means the Hawaii episodes will be added later. For those that have watched the episodes, does David Hasselhoff's "Current of Love" play over the end credits?

No, Current of Love was removed. Baywatch’s composer Corey Lerios is credited at the end with the new end credit music.

Just realized that even if they add Baywatch Hawaii, the show is still technically incomplete.
I recall that the "Series Finale" ended on an unresolved cliffhanger because the show was cancelled.
It was resolved in this 2 hour movie that aired on FOX 2 years later:

and this movie is only available on DVD. It may not ever make it to streaming because it was co-produced by 20th Century FOX.
Baywatch Nights, the short-lived spin-off, was awful and I think it's doubtful we'll ever see it again. The 1st season was a cheesy PI procedural with Mitch and Garner. The 2nd season...oh man...it was literally an X-Files rip-off. I recall it aired at 11pm on Saturdays in syndication back when I was in college. It was literally Hasselhoff, Eddie Cibrian and Angie Harmon fighting vampires, aliens and ghosts. It was painfully bad.

Brooke Burns alone makes Baywatch Hawaii a must see
Maybe they will release it in a few months time

Yea, I mentioned the movie earlier. The whole thing is on YouTube if you make it through the series and it isn't up officially and you want to watch. Obviously not the greatest quality.
Fremantle has said they are "looking into" 10 and 11 not being on Amazon.

Wendie Malik as Gayle, Mitch's ex wife is interesting. I only see her as Nina Van horne from Just shoot me.

I dug up a DVD i had of season 1
I compared one shot from the DVD v the HD remaster
The aspect ratio thing is never perfect
Here you can see we trade seeing more of the younger lovely lady in orange's butt for seeing more of the older woman, So it looks like the dvds don't quite get thrown out quite yet

I don’t remember if I liked this show or not. Was a lon g time ago.
i do remember that I hated what Pam Anderson did to woman after she became a part of this show.
Almost all woman became a clone of her.
Bleached blonde, pencil thin eyebrows and giant fake boobs.
Hated that.
tried to watch the pilot the other day and didn’t make it through more then 20 minutes.
Probably put it on as background when I’m doing things around the house.

Ah Baywatch nights. Man what a terrible show. The first season was awful but still fun as a low budget PI show. Season 2 was just ridiculously terrible. Why on earth did it become an X-Files clone? Why was Mitch suddenly fighting vampires, werewolves, she-wasps and ghost pirates? Here is a montage of season 2 promos if you want a good laugh.
I'm up to episode 5 on season 1. Man, this show is almost laughably bad. The plots are bad, the acting is bad, everything is bad. You can definitely see how it inspired lesser shows like Acapulco H.E.A.T, Soldiers of Fortune and other shows such as that. But I'll be damned if I don't still enjoy watching this somewhat. It just has a certain charm to it that makes it enjoyable.

I noticed something funny about episode 2. They recast Parker Stevenson's wife from the Pilot with a younger and slightly more attractive actress. I do recall that his character Craig leaves after the 1st season and returns at a much later season and starts dating one of the younger lifeguards after he gets divorced.
Brandon Call, who played Hobie in season 1, apparently hasn't worked in over 20 years. I guess he's out of the acting business.
Also, I did a comparison with the season 1 opening credits (I noticed they looked different) and it looks like they re-worked them slightly and used the syndicated graphics compared to the bright red/orange look from it being on NBC.

Now that is a name I haven't heard in a long time. Where are you, Alison Armitage?

I hate you guys!
Just out of curiosity because of this thread, I decided to check out how it looks in HD. Now I'm half-way through the first season on a binge. No clue why it's keeping me in other than it's an easy background show.

I 'm looking forward to seeing the episode where Mitch starts banging some evil seductress played by Shannon Tweed.
I think it was in season 2. The early 90s was Shannon Tweed in her prime. I was in High school when it aired and vaguely remember it.
The one thing I remember about this show is that Mitch has had terrible luck with women.
His character had a fling with Nancy Valen that flamed out and also got married to Gena Lee Nolin's character. But, Nolin quit the show after their characters married, so they ended up divorcing them shortly afterwards.

That second and third ep where bonkers.
Hoebster hanging around with grown men who murdered someone.
Then him and a Dad throwing around raw ground beef and touching everything in the apartment without even cleaning their hands. Nasty.
Third ep kids go missing. No big deal we get hundreds of missing kids a day.
Then they tell the remaining kids to go look in all the places they’re not normally allowed to go to.
Sure kids go over to the junk yard and look through all those empty metal tubes that are teetering and about to roll over and crush you.
Yeah go take a look in the adult movie theater.
dont forget to check the abandoned construction site.
Bonkers
