Yeah where is it available? I'll also add I don't want Hoff's music replaced either, "Current of Love" played with the end credits was awesome.

Desmond is Australia based. I'm guessing it's available in HD local to him. Freemantle was trying to sell the new HD masters internationally as well.

Nice
Thanks for the headsup. Don't know how much time I will have, but I will definitely check out some episodes this weekend.

The article says that 350 new original shows have been added for the montages.
Hopefully they're decent and not the awful filler crap they used on the DVDs years ago. Main thing I hope is they've retained is the opening theme song by Jimi Jamison (OP says they did) and Current of Love by The Hoff

I might have to sign up for Amazon Prime now.

Does this include Baywatch Hawaii and Baywatch Nights?

re: The One and Only BAYWATCH Discussion Thread
The first article in the OP only mentions the original series. Hawaii is apart of that (starting with Season 10), but Nights isn't.

I've watched a few episodes of the remastered in HD Baywatch
I have to say, GORGEOUS ! really good remastering. . I do feel like the beach is in my man cave
The show is way more rewatchable in terms of plots and characters than i remember. I really enjoyed watching the episodes i have done so far and that was with no fast forward.
And boy i really do have a thing for those 90s style bikinis, especially the bums
The Hoff is way better and more likeable than i remember and Hobie is less annoying than i remember.. I know the show was technically cancelled after season 1 so there is quite the cast shake up after season 1.
Pretty mega excited at how many episodes ahead to watch I won't rush, maybe 5 episodes per week.

How are the music montages now? Also I'm still not seeing it on Amazon. Will we be able to buy the seasons off of prime? I never signed up for amazon prime.

If you're curious about cost. It's $13/month for $120 for an entire year.

Baywatch is now up.
Looks like the first 9 seasons are there,. Baywatch Hawaii, which is seasons 10 and 11, is not there.
Just fired it up and season 1, which aired on NBC, is using the Jimi Jamison theme song from the long-running syndicated version, not the Peter Cetera song. It's fine with me.
and damn, I didn't realize that Madchen Amick was in the Pilot.

Watched the pilot. I don't think I've ever seen it before. I really don't know what I've seen of the show in the past. I would see episodes here and there.
Young Madchen Amick is a personal favorite of mine. I think she is one of the most beautiful girls I've seen. I noticed Nancy Valen in the background too. She went to be a regular in Season 7. Her nurse episode of Saved by the Bell was formative for me.
HD looks good. A little spotty. Some nice grain. I'm guessing it'll improve into the later seasons.
The music... eh... what are you gonna do? It sounds a little too modern for the show but didn't bother me too much. Maybe in later episodes it will fit better. Aslong as the theme is there that is all that matters to me.

Madchen Amick was only 18 in the Pilot. Funny seeing her play a psycho stalker of Parker Stevenson's character. I don't think I've seen the episode since it originally aired.

re: The One and Only BAYWATCH Discussion Thread
I just finished watching the 90 minute Pilot. Not bad for the remastering job. Granted it's not perfect since the footage is 30 years old, but it definitely gives the colors a more vibrant and current feel. It doesn't feel dated.
I'm sure once I get into the later seasons, it will look even better.
The updated music cues weren't too bad.
I'm glad they didn't use the Peter Cetera song "Save Me" for the NBC 1st season. Was never a fan of that song. "I'm always here" is more closely associated with the show.

I wish Baywatch Hawaii was included. I'm thinking of using the free 30 day trial to watch the show.
