Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
This year's batch of Christmas movies start next month.
Hallmark Movies & Mysteries will premiere Christmas Camp on July 7 at 9 p.m., EW has learned. Starring Lily Anne Harrison and Bobby Campo, the film centers on an advertising exec (Harrison) who must bring in a new account in the form of a traditional toy company. To learn more about the holiday and its traditions, she attends a “Christmas Camp,” where she crosses paths with the camp owner’s son (Campo), who teaches her about other stuff, too, like love.
The following week, on July 13 at 8 p.m., Hallmark Channel will debut A Merry Christmas Match, starring Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey. The plot revolves around a woman named Corey (Newbrough) who lives in a ski village, works in her mom’s antique shop, and puts on an annual children’s Christmas pageant in honor of her late father. When a man named Ryder (Massey) visits her store, Corey wonders if she should have left town and followed her dreams of becoming a theater director.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
The sale is like all Lacey Chabert
, Danica Mackellar, and Meghan Markle.
I don’t think I need to own any, though.
I’m looking forward to the movie at the end of the month, which has a Broadway actress, Laura Osnes, whose career I’ve followed for a while.
Bottled with Love was yet another spin on the You’ve Got Mail plot, but it was pretty good.

Christmas At Graceland was surprisingly dull and disappointing.

I don’t think I’ve seen any of these, and had no idea that some of them had two or three sequels.

Out of that group, A Country Wedding is decent. I'd also recommend All of My Heart with one caveat. The first sequel was a real letdown for me. I forget exactly why I dislike it, but I was disappointed.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I have to agree with both. I did like All of My Heart: The Wedding. Ended up getting all three movies in this series. Not really interested in any of the other titles in this sale. I do like Bridal Wave but may not spend any more money on Hallmark titles til Christmas.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I see that it is old news on this thread that Hallmark is celebrating Christmas in July (I used to love those J.C. Penny’s ads It’s Christmastime in July)!! I was watching the latest Mystery 101 Hallmark film and the commercial announcing the original Christmas Camp made me squeal with delight. TheBigDave’s post noting another original in July just has me so giddy happy.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I couldn’t find this on the schedule so I checked Osnes’ Instagram, and she said it’s been moved to August on Hallmark Now streaming. I don’t have that service so I’m bummed. I guess there could be a free trial.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
Quite a few Xmas Pre-Orders appeared on Amazon this morning for Hallmark Christmas Movies on DVD. Release date is 10/1 for Ginger Bread Romance, Miss Christmas, Marrying Father Christmas, Christmas Made to Order, Once Upon a Christmas Miracle, Christmas at Grand Valley, A Veteran's Christmas, Christmas at Pemberly Manor, Christmas Homecoming and Home for Christmas Day.
There are three I am very interested in getting. Hoping for more releases to be announced soon!

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
I’ll pick up a few of the new ones on VUDU. I think Once Upon a Christmas Miracle was one of the better ones last year.
The Last Bridesmaid was pretty good, but I’ll watch pretty much anything with Rachel Boston.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
iTunes is having a Christmas in July sale on Hallmark titles. There are at least 12 Hallmark Christmas movies for sale for $5.99. Haven't see that price on iTunes for Hallmark movies. Don't have time to list now. Crazy schedule today.

Good selection. There’s a few I’d like to have, but unfortunately I don’t buy non-Movies Anywhere titles on iTunes.

Except if they hit .99 cents on Amazon like they did last August right?

Thanks for posting the list.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas
A lot of the Christmas movies are also on sale at Amazon.
Although I prefer Vudu, I don't mind buying at Amazon. They have an app on every device, so it's easy to watch. Unfortunately, iTunes is currently limited to the Apple TV. So I rarely buy iTunes movies unless they're MA.
