Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I happened to watch The Nine Lives Of Christmas again when it aired earlier today and I had forgotten how this was one of the better Hallmark Originals from the past few years.

Finally caught Christmas Getaway after wanting to see it since premiering in Christmas 2017. Good movie starring the always luminous Bridget Regan, who has only done a handful of Christmas movies because she can find better paying work.

This one is one of my favorites. Really hoping it gets released on DVD.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I don’t think I’ve seen any of the sale titles, except maybe part of the Lacey Chabert safari one. I may get a couple of the HOF titles or just skip it.

A Country Wedding with Autumn Reeser is pretty good. Most of her movies are entertaining.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I read an article last week that told that the are in the middle of production for Christmas at Graceland 2, while the City of Memphis was under a heat advisory. The poor cast and crew wearing those Thich hats, coats and gloves and it was hot as heck outdoors.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

I'm really looking forward to the Christmas At Dollywood movie coming in December. The theme park will be a great setting. And Danica McKellar's movies are usually pretty good.

Here's an article about it:

Thanks for posting these. Any idea how long this sale will go on for? Some of the Xmas titles are still on sale on Amazon.

Winter Castle with Emilie Ullerup was also good. I wasn’t crazy about Taylor Cole’s A Winter Proposal—the secondary couple seemed more interesting than the leads—but I guess it’s a sequel to a movie I never saw. Also watched an older one with Rachel Boston called Stop the Wedding, but it was just OK. The male lead seemed kinda smarmy,
I'll be getting this one for sure.

New Christmas movies begin October 25th. They don't even wait for Halloween anymore.

I'll keep those Walmart exclusive movies in mind as it gives me a chance to watch some of the newer movies. Hallmark is doing their first ever Christmas Con Nov. 8-10th somewhere in New Jersey. Not that I would ever go but that's pretty cool.

That's a good list of stars. Funny they make the claim of "Hallmark" stars but if this was in SoCal, I would consider it to meet Wendi Cooper and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.

And damn 40 new movies??? I'm be interested in watching some if I got the channel, but no way would I let that dip into October and Halloween films. That's just wrong.

You can get all three Hallmark channels via frndly tv a new streaming service starting at $5.99. You would need the next plan up for a DVR.

Re: Hallmark Channel's Countdown to Christmas

Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays features an all new cast and story. Last year's Christmas at Graceland with Kellie Pickler and Wes Brown, was the highest rated and most watched Hallmark film of 2018. Wedding at Graceland, featuring the same cast, was also very successful. I wonder why they are going with a all new cast and story?

I asked my Hallmark fan friend what she thought, and she said she liked the Irish scenery, which I guess says it all.

I caught this movie and liked the cast more than the script itself. Patterson's character...

Spoiler:
suddenly breaks off an engagement and long-term relationship after seeing her former boyfriend that flaked on her years ago. These type of movies make huge emotional pivots without worrying about the fallout.
