Fine, Frank. I am not rooting for Jani as of now (Dan and Brit). Again, I just think I'd rather target Boogie and his team over hers. He's certainly more dangerous down the line and, unless they've already told them (anything is possible on this show) about the coaches coming in for sure, then I'd rather Boogie take the hit than Jani.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

Man, I was howling like a 12 year-old during that coach's comp. Janelle's husband is one lucky man! It's as if BB knows that the showmance between Danielle and Shane is destined to be a big nothing so they're going to shove the sexual innuendo down our throat any other way they can. Hope that $6K Boogie won during the coach's comp won't come back to bite him come Thursday night... NOT!

Love the way the show's editing captured the last-second crazy that went through Shane's mellon before he made his nominations. Boogie being on Shane's head on the last moments before the ceremony was probably what kept Frank off more than anything else. And holy shit, after weeks in the BB house Jenn finally makes it to the main show... as a coming-out-to-her-parents lesbian. And we can debate the merits of whether Shane made the right move by trusting Boogie and Frank, but anytime Joe comes on during a DR session I'm glad there's a chace he won't be there next week.

Despite hating Boogie enough to want him to take the hit instead of Jani and despite the stupidity of keeping Frank, the moment Joe brought Shane breakfast in bed, I wanted his ass out of the house.

Thank G-d Dani is no longer afraid of lesbians.

I know it's probably disturbing, but I really want to know now if Jani's husband can give as well as he must receive with the tongue.

Dan is a great player and I like him, but he really needs to shut up about coaching.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

On the feeds and "BB After Dark" Joe insisted the DR told him to do the breakfast in bed for Shane because they wanted to do a segment on it, but the BB voice never interrupted Joe's statement with a 'You're not allowed to talk about production' message. I wouldn't pull it past Grodner to screw a player to get her precious ratings by suggesting said player did something so stupid he becomes a target (which Joe was anyway), but based on what they showed last night it seemed like it was all Joe's idea to do breakfast in bed. Being a chef it would seem like the way he would approach an HOH to plead his case, except it was such a transparent suck-up of such epic proportions it may have backfired, especially if Shane values his Carmen Elektra dreams (notice Shane didn't say he was dreaming about Danielle though, that would have been too much! ).

I would think they would play the "You are not allowed to discuss your diary room sessions with other houseguests," even if they were lying about them. The person manning the buttons wouldn't necessarily know what was discussed in any particular diary room session.

Whoever was watching them that night was probably just slow on the take or missed what he said. I've noticed that they only do the "Stop singing!" thing about half of the time on AD.

Not really a Brit fan but she looked good at the competition in her tight getup.

Holy shit at the difference between Danielle with and without makeup.

They spend so much time on the vets, none of the newbs have really made an impression. Not a strong player in the bunch.

Danielle was so lucky BB cast a lesbian this season, otherwise she might have gone the rest of her life fearing lesbians might come on to her. As a nurse that might have endangered the life of a patient that Danielle could think was coming on to her.

And these people wonder they some of them don't have their old jobs when they leave the BB house; words matter.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

Ok, that's not exactly what happened. The Ian thing was primarily just an excuse to justify it. Janelle's team starting with Joe and including, surprisingly enough, Ashley in a very prominent and effective role, went to work on Shane on Sunday night. Boogie went to bed early, and Janelle didn't.

It also helped that a persuasive Dan as well as his conduit (Danielle, when she was completely obsessing over that kiss) both subtlety made the case for Frank. Ironically at one point over the weekend Frank, Shane, and Danielle were having final 3 discussions.

Now, Frank is fighting for his life. The coach twist has really hurt him this season. He's a fantastic player. The problem he has is that Dan and Janelle are not new to the game, and since they assume they are coming back in they want to take out leaders. Frank is athletic; he's persuasive; he's comparatively trustworthy, and he's a nice guy to boot. He also happens to be working with Mike Boogie.

For the record, Shane is not at all interested romantically in Danielle. She's a little crazy insecure so that might blow up at some point. However, to their credit, they have done a pretty good cover job hiding the alliance between them this week. Too bad we didn't get the creepy Boogie/Ashley kiss.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

Well, it's fitting that Britney hit the reset button against her better judgement (she clearly didn't want to do it) and Boogie was fine keeping on coaching. I understand it had to be all four coaches in or none so coaches and their players that remained in the game wouldn't become immediate targets. Still, it was a pretty meaningless vote when it took only one of the four coaches voting yes and it was obious to anyone that at least Dan (down and one player) and Janelle (competitive beast) were going to hit the button.

So, big waste of worries for the past week for Frank, Joe and Shane, especially the latter. All his moves were engineered to try and give himself a better chance to stay; now, unless he or Britney win, they're both very likely to end on the block because they pissed off both Janelle's and Boogie's players. For shits and giggles nothing would beat a Wil HOH though, with Dan and Janelle (with Brit and Boogie as backdoor options) guaranteed nominees and the biggest round of ass-kissing you've ever seen in your life.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

I'll give Ali G credit; she found a way to get the coaches in and still keep the only new player really worth anything (Frank was toast tonight).

It will be interesting to see how the "Frank was safe" lie plays out. Wil went to Boogie and Frank last night to tell them he was voting Joe out (it was a lie to throw off Ian before the HOH started, but they don't know that...yet), and Frank had been assured his safety all week.

I don't like too much producer manipulation, but Frank, truly, was only going home b/c of the coach twist. Frank is the type of guy who wins Big Brother. Since the newbies will gang up on the vets to a certain degree you have to think Frank is the favorite to win.

Current newbie/vet alliances are difficult to pinpoint. Dan/Britney/Shane/Danielle are supposedly in an alliance, but Dan is so difficult to read and that assumed Frank leaving. Dan likes and trusts Frank, but doesn't really trust Boogie and is a little afraid of them together. Also, Dan and Janelle may or may not be aligned. Either way, Janelle is so disliked by most of the house I don't see any way for her to win. Since her team wants her out she would need to align with Boogie, but she torched the bridge with Frank this week.

Holy shit, I totally didn't even notice that Joe and his family didn't get a segment on the live "BB" show and it was all about Frank and his famous father. Grodner isn't even trying to hide that she engineered this whole thing to save Frank and that he's the production's golden boy for this season.

So stupid, but we all knew it was coming. For some reason, BB is allergic to keeping each season's "GAME CHANGING TWIST" going for longer than the first few weeks.

I was wondering why there wasn't a DR push to save Frank this week. He wasn't leaving no matter what. Even in the unlikely event of the coaches saying no and Frank getting voted out, he just would have been back next week.

I know some people like to know who the HOH winner is. Just a name no additional spoiler.

Spoiler:
Danielle

Reading the recap of the challenge, CBS should just play as much of it as they can. So much stuff sounds too good to miss.

It was cool to see Sid Vicious in that video of Frank's family. Nice to see he is alive and looks to be in good health, unlike a lot of wrestlers from his era who are six feet under the ground.

He came back and wrestled on Raw a few weeks ago during the run up to the 1000th show. He's still in decent shape, but he isn't moving too fast.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread

Well they were Dan's nominations not Danielle's (what do I do; you decide); she just gave the speech.

Some context for the episode...Dan gave an inspirational speech for all three of the final contestants; he didn't discriminate.

Danielle's first thought was to make peace with Frank and try to get out Janelle. Dan had to squash that. Dan and Janelle talked about who they needed to put against Frank to get him out, and Janelle thought it needed to be Wil.

Mike and Frank made it easy to be nominated b/c they pouted all day. Danielle is extremely motivated to protect Dan in the game so Dan sold it that Mike couldn't leave this week b/c it would make Dan the biggest target in the game. Dan also had illusions of still working with Mike, but the answer to that happens after the nomination ceremony.
