Willie is a hothead lunatic, but Britney definitely led him astray. And they really blew Willie's comment about Wil out of proportion. Not excusing his actions but they definitely cornered him.

I think that the whole Hanz family is like something out of a horror movie.
Russell, the charming pathological liar.
Brandon, the religious nut who thinks women who don't know he exists are tempting him to sin.
Willie, the violent sociopath.
I wonder if they have a hulking, retarded cousin with a penchant for meat hooks and wearing women's faces.

The backdoor plan to put up Will was a pretty brilliant idea by Shane, too bad Frank didnt do it. Now more eye candy will leave on thursday.

Chenbot tweeted about announcing a "BIG game-changing twist" on tonight's live show. Guess tonight we find out whether Britney's worries that drove Willie nuts about the coach's coming into the game pan out or not.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread
Well, William Castle would be proud to know he still has some pull. When Chenbot and the BB announcer asked viewers whether they wanted the all-star coaches to (a) remain coaching or (B) GET BACK IN THIS EXCITING GAME FOR A CHANCE AT $500,000 I felt like I was watching Castle at the break in the middle of "Mr. Sardonicus" prompting the audience to vote on the movie's ending. Guess Allison Grodner will also change the name of the show next week from "Big Brother" to "Pass the Buck."
Shane is shaping up to be the beast of the season so far; two POV's and one HOH (2 of the 3 when he needed them most). While part of me would be thrilled to see Boogie's side sweat it out a little (and I think it will happen with at least one nomonee or backdoor possibility) it's time for Janelle's team to feel the squirm and fear of God for a change. And it's a good thing Chenbot didn't tell the house about America's Vote for next week or Danielle would be a guaranteed eviction nominee (she could still be though) just to get Dan out the door before the coaches getting into the game is made "official."

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread
One of the big reasons Janelle and Boogie were pushing Jojo to leave was b/c they wanted to keep Dan in the game. All three of the other coaches pretty much think Britney is worthless as an ally, and they figure they'll need Dan if/when they come in the game.
I wasn't a huge Danielle fan, but she did a really nice job this week making herself a part of the house. Danielle is a sleeper to win. In contrast, Jojo is just super annoying. That didn't help her.
You watch the coach interactions, and it's clear Dan is the best player. For all the talk of his picking poorly, it was really more a function of him getting screwed by the pick order. Shane, Wil, and Frank go 1-2-3, and he didn't want anything to do with Willie (would have come in handy in the first challenge, but after that...). The next two players picked after Dan were Ian and Ashley. Kara and Danielle were both better picks than either of them. Anyway, it's fun watching Dan interact with Boogie and Janie and how he is able to pick information.
Shane has done well in the physical competitions, but I just don't think he's a smart man. People like that who are challenge threats don't usually last long.

So I guess Frank and Wil will be going up on the block.

My guess is Wil and Joe, but we'll see. Britney is not a master strategist, but Boogie will almost certainly be in Shane's ear. Shane had to win it though. As long as he was in the house this week, he was the path of least resistance.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread
The timing worked beautifully for Shane. He's safe this week (anybody else as HOH and he was at least a likely backdoor candidate) and next week, when the coaches come back into the game (in any capacity and/or number), the target will shift to them immediately and the noobies will want to keep Shane around as their stud to do battle with powerhouses like Dan and Boogie.

Called it after the first episode (I think I even said week 3). I like how they're acting like we actually have a say in whether or not they'll enter the game. Just collecting that $$$ from the naive viewers.
So a veteran will once again win the game. They will have a 3 week bye and will have had plenty of time to build relationships without the worry of being sent home. If that's not an unfair advantage, I don't know what is. The only people I can see having the balls to go after a vet are Joe and Shane, but they'll be snuffed out soon enough. The only newbies that have a remote chance of winning are Ian and Wil.

At what age was Shane legally emancipated?
Britney's JoJo impersonation was pretty spot on.
Dr. Will looked really odd. Anyone else notice that? He's only doing this for self-promotion and it seemed very scripted, but his analysis of Dan was totally off.
Didn't like Frank saying "Jewels" to Julie Chen, not once but twice.

Until the messages, I had totally forgotten that Jenn was in the house.
JoJo, shup up during the messages...just shut up in general.

They don't have time to show her. They need to keep showing us the people we've seen play 1-2 times already.
I really hope Survivor and Big Brother don't do returning players next season...or has it already been confirmed that Survivor is doing that?

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread
Looked like Shane got a lucky deflection there, but it was weird that his ball didn't go in. I wonder if there was even any thought as to what the rule would be in that case.
At the very least, as unlikely as it would have been for Danielle to get it in there, with the ball up high, they should have moved it.
Had Danielle somehow got her ball going towards the 20, it would have hit Shane's ball and been knocked away. I think Shane's was in just enough that being struck wouldn't have knocked it out, but rather knocked it down further.

I'm a little torn. I like seeing the old players, but would rather just have All Stars 2 than rookies vs vets.

And the whole "emancipated"/"introverted" discussion was hilarious.

Re: Big Brother 14 season thread
My guess is Wil and Joe go on the block as well. I think Danielle is safe this week. With Jojo gone she will be able to flirt with Shane and with Dan's guidance convince him to put up either 2 of Janelle's players or one of hers and one of Boogies.
Besides with the coaches coming into the game to play, I'm sure the DR will influence with their line of questioning to keep Dan and Brit in. Not even sure why they bothered with the America's vote. 1 it is going to pass overwhelmingly and 2 they could just announce it to the house guests and it would be done as something in the rules of the game.

I really want him to be the first coach gone, because any of the other 3 I can root for and, therefore, would probably grow to like their alliances more. Boogie muddies the waters.

Shane's smartest move would be to nominate 2 from the same team and try to make an alliance with the other team. The worst outcome for the newbies would be losing a strong competitor like Frank who can win challenges against the veterans.
