Why wouldn't Fabio be Marcel's first choice? Say what you will about his cooking but front of the house is what he professionally does and that job in this challenge is the most important. Dale was right when he said Fabio was a steal.

Fabio was great at front of the house, a true charmer. Tiffany came across as shrill and fake (and hated what she was wearing). Marcel sealed his doom with his pretentious dessert and inability to control his team. And Padma did look great.
I'm liking this season, but enough of the team challenges.

Well, to be fair, Fabio wasn't Dale's first choice either. And in fact, Fabio wasn't Marcel's second pick either. That's where he should have picked Fabio. Blais should have been his first pick, and if Dale didn't pick Fabio then, that should have been his second pick.

I can't believe they're giving Marcel his own show.

Are people seriously going to watch that?

Re: Top Chef All Stars
Restaurant Wars has been a supersized episode the first time it airs and usually the repeat that night for a few seasons now. Later reruns have stuff edited so it's back to an hour. I think they realized that was one of the "hot" episodes people loved.
It does seem that this season has had more of the supersized episodes though. This is like the third one overall I think.

Re: Top Chef All Stars
The restaurant wars eliminations are always bad. Dale should not have bit the dust in his season. Like Tom said in the behind the scenes episode, Dale made one bad dish, and Lisa made two bad dishes. I thought that was probably the worst decision the judges made.
For some reason, this season has been really boring. I was expecting astounding dishes like Top Chef Masters, but it seems like they're making the same middle-of-the-road food that was in previous seasons. For chefs with this much experience under their belt, they should be doing better.

Apparently Padma is in a nasty custody battle with her baby's daddy (Adam Dell).
She sounds like a cold biotch from that article.
Here's Padma's current boyfrend, 70 year old Ted Forstmann

I'm sure that he's a demon in the sack. I cannot fathom another reason why she would be dating him.

If you think she sounds like a bitch from that article, you clearly have some predisposition against her or women in general. There is absolutely nothing of substance in that article, except a couple of quotes from the guy who is suing (which obviously can't be taken as the truth). How you take that and decide that she sounds like a bitch is beyond me.
